KITTY WAS GLAD TO SEE that Marcus had come back. She was even more glad to see that Carmy had actually taken the time to go and apologise to him. What she wasn't so glad about, was walking into the kitchen to see Carmy standing frozen in front of the stove. The stove that was completely up in flames.

"Shit! Carmy!" She yelled. Her eyes widening. She threw the broomstick aside as she yelled, "Richie! Get the extinguisher! Now!" Running over, she pushed Carmy in his almost catatonic state out of the way of the flames. She could feel them almost kissing her back before she moved just in time to not get burned.

As soon as Richie heard the urgency in her voice he did as she ordered. Pulling away from the deep conversation he found himself in with Tina and rushing to the kitchen, grabbing the fire extinguisher on his way inside, a panicked look in his face. Tina and Sweeps following in after him, looks of panic on their faces.

He put out the fire before throwing down the extinguisher to the side and rushing over to Carmy. Putting his hands on his shoulder and shaking him, trying to get him to snap out of his trance, "Yo! Hey!" He looked back at Kitty, the two sharing a worried stare. Richie reached over and slapped Carmy's cheek, "Yo!"

Kitty felt like her blood ran cold. The last time she saw someone in such a trance was Mikey himself. It was eery to stand there, watching his younger brother in a similar stance. Mikey's face flashed through her mind as she looked at Carmy, causing her to have to turn away from him. Only snapping out of it when she heard his voice as he responded to Richie.

"You all right?" Richie asked, tilting his head down to be eye level with Carmy, who was significantly shorter.

Kitty bit her lip as she watched Carmy nodding. His eyes still held a distant look in them.

"Yeah," He breathed out.

"Yeah?" Richie asked again. Nothing but worry in his eyes as he stared at Carmy. Clearly just like Kitty experiencing a strange case of deja vu.

"Yeah, yeah, sorry," Carmy nodded, finally snapping his eyes away from the stove and blinking up at the older man.

Richie pulled away from him. Straightening his back and giving Carmy one last pat on the shoulder before walking off, still with a limp in his step from the stab wound. Sweeps and Tina glancing between the trio before walking off to get ready for the day ahead. Kitty let out a sigh as she walked over to Carmy. Pushing down the tightness in her throat.

"You sure you're all right?" She asked, placing her hand on his elbow, just above one of his tattoos.

"Yeah," He nodded, his eyes blinking at her, "Yeah, sorry."
