The Counters go back leaving both Jackal and Viper laid flat on the snowy ground. The Commander was a little shaken by the encounter he had with the thing. The sun begins to set and raptures begin to surround their path.
"We'll have to make camp somewhere close to the path. Rapi do you know where we can secure camp?" Rapi scans the area looking for a possible campsite
"Right there." Rapi point to the opposite direction where the Commander was standing. Rapi leads the way to their location.
Once they reach the site it was a small shack with a campfire that looked a few days old
"Looks like someone has already been here." Neon spoke as she had a lighter ready to get a fire going
"Well it looks like it but the small shack looks completely untouched." Anis adds as she looks inside the shack.
The Commander takes his jacket and shirt off. The burning sensation finally begins to kick in. He looks at Rapi
"Hey Rapi?" The Nikke turns to see her Commander and is shocked to see the wound that had appeared. Rapi goes to the Commander
"Commander how did this happen." She asks
"I'll tell you but first get me some bandages this wound is killing me." Rapi didn't hesitate and did as she was told. Anis and Neon turned to look at the Commander as Rapi was searching in his bag to find bandages
They quickly grabbed the Commander and put him inside the shack. The Counters did their best to bandage up the Commander and after a painful session the Commander was completely fine.
"Seems like it couldn't hold the pain in any longer." The Commander laid on the ground with just his pillow he manage to take with him
"Rest now Commander. We'll need to head out tomorrow morning." Said Rapi
"Yeah, yeah but did Snow White ever text you back Anis?" The Nikke shook her head no
"I thought so but maybe we'll find her somewhere up here. I'm hoping to see Marian, maybe she's finally learned with their help. I hope to treat Snow White with a pleasant dinner." Rapi, Neon and Anis looked at the Commander with the eyes of jealousy
"So you plan on making food for a lady you barely know?" Neon said with concern
"Yeah and not to mention he's your best friends woman!!" Anis shouts
"I sadly have to agree with them Commander." Rapi chimes in
"Hey, I mean she has helped us with Marian and the least I could do is pay her back with some kindness." The girls turn around and head out one by one
"We'll see you in the morning." Neon was the last to leave and shut the door
"Ugh. What a bunch of girls. Doesn't matter they will forget about it in the morning, time for some shut eye." The Commander closes his eyes and doze off
The next day rolls around and the Commander gets up. He feels his wound and pain on his side. He gets up with a little difficulty but still manage to suck up the pain. He leaves the shack to see the Nikke's sleeping next to the campfire.
"Looks like they did sleep out here." The Commander walks up to the girls and tries to wake them up.
"Hey girls wake up I made breakfast." He lied and sire enough Anis jolted up from her slumber while Neon got up rubbing her eyes
"Commander you should...nt. have...." Anis was confused and so was Neon but Anis saw through the lies and became annoyed with the Commander.
"You lying piece—" Anis stops herself
