Chapter 8

Jihyo: "Anyway, Y/n, you did very well during My Ear's Candy. I was impressed that you could adapt so quickly. Well done."

Y/n: "Thanks a lot Jihyo. It was a really fun time. I wish I'd known I'd be performing that song with Jeongyeon again one day."

Jeongyeon: "I had a lot of fun too. You're going to make me regret performing this song with Nayeon."

Y/n: "Unfortunately all good things must come to an end."

Jeongyeon: "Indeed."

After that there was silence as we continued to eat. And even though it hadn't traumatized me...there was something that kept running through my head.

Y/n: "You see Jihyo...with Daniel...last Friday..."

Jihyo: "You'll never let me off the hook with that."

Y/n: "Yes, but I can't forget what I heard."

She slapped her forehead against the seat in front of her.

Y/n: "I've always been rather curious about what you might look like in bed. I understood that day why people say curiosity is an evil trait."

Jeongyeon turned to me quickly.

Jeongyeon: "Oh, yes, me too! I've already said to myself that I'd love to have sex with each of you once, to discover the one aspect of you that I don't know. But I'd never know how to look you in the eye again after that."

I was really surprised by what she'd just said, but I was also delighted. She probably wouldn't have said that if she wasn't at least a little interested in women.

Y/n: "Besides, I'm sure it would create tension. ''Why did you propose to Dahyun before me?'' and bam, an argument."

Jihyo: "I think all the girls would look at you strangely and refuse."

Y/n: "I never said I planned to ask. But I also never said I'd refuse if asked."

Jihyo looked completely desperate.

Jihyo: "I'm going to put on my earphones, I don't want to hear any more such horrors."

I took advantage of the fact that Jihyo could no longer hear us to turn to Jeongyeon and speak to her in a low voice. I really needed confirmation, even if I risked getting a heartbreaking answer.

Y/n: "Jeongyeon, are you...interested in women?"

I was trying to speak with curiosity so she wouldn't think I was asking because I would be afraid she might be.

She looked at me for a few seconds, probably thinking about what she was going to do, before finally nodding. And as Jeongyeon looked at me fearfully, I felt all the stress I'd built up suddenly fall away. She likes women. I'm a woman. Maybe I had a chance.

Y/n: "Me too."

She widened her eyes, before breaking into a smile.

Y/n: "Are you interested in men too?"

Jeongyeon: "No."

I nodded in understanding.

Y/n: "And does Jihyo...know about this?"

Jeongyeon: "Yes, and she has no problem with it."

Y/n: "That's great."

After that, me and Jeongyeon stood idly by for what seemed like an eternity, even though it wasn't even going to be a minute. I was really happy with what I'd just learned, I knew now that I had a chance with her, since until then it had always been uncertain.
