Chapter 31

~ Sana's point of view ~

Jihyo and I had talked a lot about how we could make things right with Dahyun. And before putting the plan into action, we'd made our way to the room shared by Jeongyeon and Y/n, only for Jeongyeon, after knocking and asking if we could come in, yelled at us to leave her fuck in peace. At least the message had been clear.

As a result of this unfortunate experience, Jihyo and I took the decision on our own to tell our managers the next morning that Dahyun wouldn't be coming in due to severe nausea. Naturally, we sent Dahyun a message explaining that this was to allow her to take some time for herself and avoid showing the agency that there was such a big conflict between the members.

Sana: "I'll talk to her tomorrow evening after we get back. I don't know if I'll be able to change her mind, but I know she will at least agree to listen to what I have to say."

Jihyo: "Okay, it's not like there's much more we can do. Jeongyeon and Y/n are...busy, so we can't talk to them about it, Dahyun's pissed off at me, Nayeon will get upset too easily, Tzuyu will refuse, Mina and Chaeyoung will be too scared to suffer the same insults directed at them, and Momo only just found out about Jeongyeon and Y/n's relationship. So that only leaves you."

I nodded sadly.

Sana: "I hope things will get better. It hurts me to know that Dahyun thinks....that.... about me."

Jihyo: "I'm sure she just needs a little time. We can't ask her to accept right away what it took us months to accept."

Sana: "But look at Momo, she didn't react badly. Yet she didn't have any privileges regarding this situation. And Tzuyu was also immediately very kind when Y/n told her she loved a girl, who was none other than Jeongyeon."

Jihyo: "But everyone reacts differently to things like that. And Dahyun has always been a bit more resistant to this kind of subject. But I'm sure she just needs a little time to figure things out. And I'm sure a conversation with one of her best friends will help her move on more quickly."

She smiled tenderly at me as I nodded.

Sana: "Now that we've agreed on that, let's talk for a moment about what Jeongyeon said."

Jihyo: "No. I don't even want to think about it. I'm traumatized."

I looked at her amused.

Sana: "Don't pretend you've never done the same thing with anyone. You're even the most experienced one here."

Jihyo: "So what? It's not the same when it involves my closest friends, who are also members of my group."

Sana: "It's not like you heard them do it. I wish I'd had that chance with you."

I looked down as the horrible memories of the weekend Daniel had come resurfaced in my mind.

Jihyo: "Sana..."

She took my hands in hers.

Jihyo: "I'm really sorry for all the hurt I caused you because of my relationship with Daniel. If I had known you loved me...and if I had understood my feelings earlier...things would have gone much better. Unfortunately I can't go back. But what I can do is give you all my attention as soon as our schedule allows, and make sure you're happy by my side."

A big smile now adorned my face. Jihyo's words had touched me deeply.

Sana: "Thank you so much Jihyo. I love you."

Jihyo: "I love you too, Sana."

She leaned over and kissed me.

Jihyo: "Why don't we enjoy our evening like Jeongyeon and Y/n are doing?"
