Chapter 5

~ Y/n's point of view ~

In the evening, Sana came to see me in my room to have a chat.

Sana : "Jihyo came to see me today to apologize for yesterday. Did you say anything to her ?"

Y/n : "No, I didn't say anything. But it's good that she came to see you, it means she's thinking about you and is worried."

Sana : "That's true."

Y/n : "So, what exactly did she say to you?"

Sana : "She apologized, saying she'd acted irresponsibly and would make sure it didn't happen again. And she gave me a hug."

I was amazed. I didn't know how Jihyo knew that Sana had been affected by what had happened. Because if she'd just wanted to apologize to the poor people who'd heard everything, she'd have come to me too. But that wasn't the case.

Y/n : "That's great."

She smiled.

Sana : "What about Jeongyeon and you? You both seemed very comfortable in your bed this morning."

Y/n : "I was so happy. I wish I could spend every night in her arms. And oh my God, I was so comfortable."

Sana : "If you want to know, when you were in her arms this morning, she looked at you smiling tenderly for a moment, before she closed her eyes too, still with a silly smile on her face."

Y/n : "I wish I could have seen that."

Sana : "I kind of suspected, so I took a picture."

Y/n : "Really?! Show it!"

She looked at me amused.

Sana : "And what do I get in return?"

Y/n : "My gratitude?"

Sana : "Deal."

She looked for the photo in her phone and showed it to me.

Y/n : "Oh my God. I want that picture."

Sana : "You're turning red."

She seemed very amused by the situation

Y/n : "I know."

Sana : "You two are so adorable."

My smile widened.

Y/n : "God, I love her so much..."

Sana : "Yes, I'd noticed."

Y/n : "Let's set a goal, Sana."

Sana : "What?"

Y/n : "We have to win the hearts of Jihyo and Jeongyeon before the end of the year."

Sana : "You know that's impossible between me and Jihyo."

Y/n : "Don't say that. A lot can happen in seven months. And if you don't give yourself the means to get what you want, nothing will happen."

Sana : "I know. It's just that I gave up hope a long time ago."

Y/n : "I'm not asking you to hope. Just be aware of what you want and do your best to get it."

Sana : "I'll try to seize the opportunities that come my way."

Y/n : "I hope so."

Sana : "But you'd better do the same with Jeongyeon. And stop saying 'No, I can't do that. It's weird'."

Y/n : "There's a difference between seizing opportunities and creating opportunities."

Sana : "Well. Then kiss Jeongyeon at the next concert."

Y/n : "Okay. If the opportunity arises, I will."

Sana : "Perfect. I can't wait."

Y/n : "Me too."

Sana : "This has nothing to do with it, but what do you plan to do during the three days off before the concert?"

Y/n : "Rest, listen to music and draw, as usual. And if possible, spend some time with Jeongyeon."

Sana : "And not even with me?"

She looked at me with sad eyes

Y/n : "You know we spend time together every day without even needing to ask each other."

Sana : "That's true."

She smiled.

Y/n : "By the way. I had an idea."

She looked at me with interest.

Y/n : "I was thinking I could get the girls to do karaoke. I know that most of them don't like to do karaoke, because we already spend all our time singing. But I'd like to make it so that we sing without having to think. Let it be something that just makes us enjoy our passion without any fear or constraint."

She nodded.

Sana : "Sounds like fun."

Y/n : "I'm thinking each of us could perform the song of our choice."

Sana : "I'm in. You should suggest it to the others.

Y/n : "All right. I'll ask them tomorrow."

And so I did. I asked them when I was up, which was lunchtime. I was happy to hear them all appreciate and accept my idea.

Jihyo : "Do you want to go tonight?"

I nodded.

Y/n : "I think it's the right time. We're all together, we'll be able to rediscover our love of singing before the concert, and we'll still have two days to rest."

Jihyo : "Sounds good to me."

We quickly got everyone to agree.

Y/n : "Think carefully about which song you want to perform between now and then."

They all seemed to be searching.

Jihyo : "That's it, I know."

Y/n : "Perfect. I know it too. You'll just have to avoid breaking windows with the power of your voice."

I rarely gave direct compliments, preferring to opt for more subtle things.

Jihyo : "What about the glasses? Am I allowed?"

Y/n : "If you're the one who buys them, then yes."

Jihyo : "I'd be careful then."

We laughed like two idiots, under the desperate gaze of the girls.

I was impatient for this evening to begin.
