Chapter 13

Early the next afternoon, Sana suggested we spend some time together. After thinking long and hard about what we could do together, we decided to bake a cake. At least one each, since one cake wouldn't be enough to feed us and our eight comrades.

Y/n: "I can't wait for tomorrow."

Sana: "Stop thinking about her for five minutes."

Y/n: "It's precisely by telling me not to think about her that you make me think about her, you know?"

Sana: "You were already thinking about her, Y/n. Do as I do, and forget your beloved's existence for a while. I'm always super happy when I remember she exists after that !"

Y/n: "We've known each other for over ten years, and you always manage to surprise me. What have I done to have such a weird friend?"

Sana: "But that's why you love me."

I looked at her with a fake disgusted face.

Sana: "I can see why you get on well with Tzuyu."

Y/n: "Me? Get along with Tzuyu? No way."

Sana: "After all, you're the one who chose to share a room."

Y/n: "Now that you mention it, that reminds me that the annual room change will take place next weekend."

Sana: "I hope you put Jeongyeon at the top of your list this time."

Every year for five years now, to strengthen the bonds between us, we fill in a paper on which we write in order the first names of the three people we'd most like to be with. We then give this paper to Jihyo, who tries to divide up the rooms according to everyone's wishes. So, in five years, I'd been with Sana, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Sana again, then Tzuyu. It was during the year when Jeongyeon and I were in the same room that I fell in love with her. I'd been attracted to her even before that, but everything had gone to another level since then.

And while I changed roommates every year, not everyone did. For example, in five years, Mina and Chaeyoung had already spent four years together, three of them consecutively. And something told me they'd keep it up. Anyway, I was soon to have the answer.

Y/n: "Of course I put Jeongyeon at the top of the list. Let me remind you that our aim is to conquer Jeongyeon and Jihyo before the end of the year. By the way, I hope you've put her at the top of your list too."

She nodded.

Sana: "I really hope she and I will be together."

Y/n: "I hope so too. And I hope Jeongyeon and I get invited to couple's sleepovers."

Sana: "That would be a disaster."

Even so, she seemed to like the idea.

Y/n: "Exactly."

I smiled proudly as we continued baking as best we could. Once our cakes were baked and cooled, we carefully decorated them, before letting the girls taste them. Sana's cake was voted the most beautiful, but mine was voted the most delicious.

Y/n: "As long as my cake is approved by Momo, I win everything."

Jihyo: "Don't worry Sana, yours is very good too. I'll even take another slice."

I looked at Sana with a smile.

Y/n: "Anyway, if anyone tries to take the last piece of my cake, I'll cut off their hands. This slice is for Jeongyeon."

Nayeon looked at me defiantly as she slowly moved her hand towards the last slice of my cake. I then grabbed the knife with which I'd cut the cake and glared at Nayeon, who promptly put her hands away.
