Chapter 30

Jeongyeon and I both sat silently on the bed, our gazes downcast. Finally, I broke the silence that had reigned in the room for too long.

Y/n: "I can't believe she thinks that about us."

Jeongyeon: "I wouldn't say she thinks that about us, but...it hurts."

I nodded, and there was another heavy silence. I didn't know what to say, even though thousands of thoughts raced through my mind every second. But how to put it all into words?

Y/n: "I...am going to listen to some music."

I took out my earphones and started listening to sad music, trying to find the one that best matched my state of mind at that moment. But soon, even though she was right next to me, I began to miss Jeongyeon. I approached her and put my head on her shoulder. I took advantage of this position to look at what she was doing on her phone, and saw that she was looking at photos of the two of us. I then turned off the music I was listening to so I could talk to Jeongyeon.

Y/n: "These two women make a beautiful couple."

Jeongyeon: "Did you see that? Unfortunately, not everyone thinks the same as you."

Y/n: "But that's inevitable. We can't all think the same things."

Jeongyeon: "I know that."

I really hoped Dahyun would eventually change her mind, and soon. If she didn't, it would cause a lot of problems within the group.

Jeongyeon: "You know, when I see us...I tell myself that we don't have to blame ourselves for what happened. We're perfect together, and we have the right to love each other, regardless of whether other people like it or not."

Y/n: "Unfortunately, we depend a lot on others."

Jeongyeon: "So what? What do you want us to do? We can't live in a way that will please everyone. It's important to make other people's lives better, but we don't have to sacrifice our lives to satisfy theirs. Especially for nonsense like this. I love you, and no one should have a problem with that."

I hugged her gently, smiling despite my sadness.

Y/n: "I love you too Jeongyeon."

She put her cell phone down on the bedside table and did the same with mine, before hugging me tightly.

Jeongyeon: "I'm really lucky to have you. So I don't intend to waste this chance, and certainly don't intend to let others do it."

Y/n: "I don't have any doubt about that. You always do everything you can to protect the things you love. In fact, it's one of the many things I particularly like about you."

She leaned over and kissed me tenderly on the cheek. As soon as she pulled back, I took advantage of our proximity to lean in and kiss her briefly on the lips.

Y/n: " I will never be tired of it."

A small smile appeared on Jeongyeon's pretty face.

Jeongyeon: "I know, you say it every time."

Y/n: "Because every time we kiss it only confirms it."

Her smile widened for a moment, before she leaned in for us to kiss again.

What started out as an innocent kiss turned over the seconds into something much more intense and needy, as Jeongyeon was now on top of me while I lay on the bed. And if all the other times our lips had met had been out of love and longing, this time it was also out of need for comfort. Dahyun's words had affected us both deeply, and we both needed something to mend our hearts damaged by such violent words.

And what better way to do that than with the proof of each other's love?

And while I was wondering how to make the kiss Jeongyeon and I shared even more pleasant than it already was, she preferred to take action. From one moment to the next, Jeongyeon was licking my lower lip. I stepped back slightly out of breath as I stared at Jeongyeon in surprise.

Y/n: "Jeongyeon..."

Jeongyeon: "Was that too soon? I'm so sorry, I."

I cut her off by kissing her again, and this time I didn't hesitate before enjoying biting her lower lip lightly. I was expecting a response from Jeongyeon in the next few seconds, so I was surprised when she simply stepped back.

Jeongyeon: "Open your mouth a little."

I followed her orders, curious to see what she would do.

Jeongyeon: "Like that, perfect."

It wasn't long before I felt her lips against mine again, but soon I also found myself with her tongue in my mouth, which took me by surprise to say the least, even though it was something I was beginning to look forward to.

And from there, it all went to another level.

My desire for Jeongyeon only increased with every second, as we continued to kiss lovingly and needily.

After this interminable exchange of saliva, I pushed Jeongyeon away so that she would lie back on the bed, her body under mine, giving me privileged access to it. I kissed Jeongyeon again, but this time, after many more seconds, I began to slowly slide my hand under her T-shirt. That's when I felt her firmly grab my wrist to stop me. I stepped back and looked at her with surprise.

Jeongyeon: "If you venture in there you know what will happen next, right?"

Y/n: "Of course. Don't you want to?"

Jeongyeon: "I do, but I just want to make sure you want to and that you're ready for it."

Y/n: "I am Jeongyeon. I have been for so long."

I didn't wait for her reply before once again making our lips meet. And when it seemed the right moment, I slipped my hand under Jeongyeon's T-shirt again, which I slowly pulled up as I passed.

Y/n: "Can you take it off?"

A smirk appeared on his face.

Jeongyeon: "Of course."

She straightened up slightly and removed her T-shirt before throwing it to the floor, never breaking the eye contact between the two of us. And to make it fair, I took off my T-shirt too. And while I was at it, I also took off my pants. But this time, I didn't ask Jeongyeon to undress.

Instead, I did it myself.

That's how our pants ended up on the floor next to our T-shirts. I now had Jeongyeon's exposed body in front of me, and it was truly magnificent. So beautiful that it was hard to believe such a body could exist.

Y/n: "You're so beautiful Jeongyeon..."

I let my hands move slowly up her waist to her breasts, then bent down to start kissing along her jaw and neck.

Jeongyeon: "I'm already looking forward to doing the same to you."

Y/n: "Your turn will come, but for now just enjoy it."

It was almost dark in the room now, as I continued to let my hands curiously caress Jeongyeon's body as I kissed her, the sun having set some time ago already. I was doing my best not to rush, but it was complicated by what I had right in front of me - the most beautiful person I'd ever seen in my life.

I tried my best to take my time and make the most of this moment that would undoubtedly remain engraved in my memory forever. But above all, I tried to do things as well as I could. Jeongyeon deserved all the happiness in the world, so I had to make sure that what I gave her came as close as possible. But there was still one more step to take...

Y/n: "Jeongyeon, can I take off your remaining clothes?"

She looked me straight in the eye, while her cheeks were slightly red and she was breathing heavily.

Jeongyeon: "Go ahead. I'm all yours."

I took a deep breath, before launching into what would be the start of a long and exhausting night.
