'YOU KNOW, I WASN'T SURPRISED WHEN THEY ASKED FOR MY BLESSING.'

'I was surprised that you of all people gave them it, Dad.' Katherine laughed as she fiddled with the ring that now rested upon her finger.

He responded with a smirk. 'Well, I was debating saying no just to see their faces.'

'Dad!'

'I actually wish I did that now, that would've been a laugh.' His smirk morphed into a cheshire grin at getting his daughter so annoyed. 'Maybe they would've given me a castle of my own as a bribe.' He pondered.

'A castle in the fiery pits of hell.' Katherine muttered spitefully under her breath.

'What was that daughter of mine?'

'Nothing dear father! Nothing at all.' She smiled innocently at him, placing her father's final folded shirt into his case. 'You'll be back soon, won't you?'

He then closed the bag, placing it down onto the ground. 'I think you'd probably lead a hundred search parties for me if I didn't come back at the precise moment I said, so I don't think I'll share that information with you, but don't worry about me. I just need to try and track them down, then I'll come straight back to you.'

'You'll back in time for the wedding won't you? You'll be the one to give me away?'

'No.'

Her eyes widened in surprise, clearing not expecting that answer.

'I'll never truly give you away, perhaps, metaphorically, for the sake of the whole wedding ordeal, but I don't think I could ever truly let my daughter go.'

She suddenly slammed into him, squeezing him so tightly with her newborn strength that he winced a little. 'I'm glad that I found you.'

'You didn't just find me, you technically saved me from rotting away in those cells, though, I wish you never had to find me the way you did.' He frowned, stroking the back of her hair as the father held his daughter.

After a call of his name from a guard outside, Liam pulled away, effortlessly lifting his backpack upon his shoulders as he pressed a kiss to his daughter's forehead. 'Be good.' He whispered before moving out of his room, closing the door behind him.

'I'll always try.'

'HOW ABOUT THIS ONE?' Jane asked as she lifted up another sketch she had put together for Katherine's wedding dress. 'I tried to gather the elements from the dresses I know you favourite over others.' She smiled.

The design incorporated so many beautiful parts, it was gorgeous, with tiny crystals to ensure that the sunlight would add to it's beauty. Countless layers of a fabric would've been on the petticoat, ensuring that it spread out.

The bertha seemed to have several swirls and folds to add to the beauty of the gown. In the centre of the bertha, two crystal wings seemed to sit either side of it, like an angel's wings. In between the two wings, made out of a crystal again, seemed to be a small sun, the rest of the bertha was simply covered in several other designs of the same crystal.

'Oh, Jane!' Katherine exclaimed. 'It's beautiful! How long have you been working on this?'

'A while.' The blonde admitted, fiddling with the hem of her sleeve. 'Do you want me to send word to have it made?' She asked, to which the brunette nodded enthusiastically.

'Do you usually design dresses?' Katherine asked her as she sat beside her.

'As a child, I used to try and design dresses for my mother and I, fashion outfits out of the little we were able to afford, to try and make me feel like we had more than we did. My mother, she taught me how to stitch originally, but I'd be the one who would fix up our clothes if they ended up torn.'

'You're very good at it, I'm sure that you could be a world-renowned fashion designer if you lived as a human nowadays.' Katherine praised her, placing her hand upon the small girl's shoulder. 'Maybe you should submit some ideas you have under another name or something one day, see what happens.'

Jane smiled enthusiastically, and thrusted her sketchpad into Katherine's arms. 'Could you tell me what you think of these designs? They're the one's I haven't discarded, as of yet anyway.'

'Of course! I'll take a look tonight.' Katherine then paused. 'Would it be too much to ask you to design some more dresses? Bridesmaid's ones, and perhaps, you'd like to be my maid of honour? I think that you deserve a dress thats a little fancier than the ones the other girls shall be wearing, because, now, you have so much.' She gestured for her to take back her beloved sketchpad, to use.

The younger girl's eyes widened. 'I'd love to, but you're sure Heidi and Chelsea won't be jealous you chose me?'

'Not in the slightest, we all know you deserve the world, Jane.'

The girl nodded, smiling profusely as she dashed off, clutching her paper tightly.

'I HEAR YOU'VE DECIDED UPON YOUR DRESS.' A familiar voice called out as she flicked through a folder of ideas Heidi, Chelsea, and Jane had presented her with. 'I do admit that I'm quite peeved that I'll have to wait until the wedding to see you in it.'

'You've seen it?'

'No, I haven't, but the dress is nothing unless you are the one wearing it.' The blonde male hummed as he plopped himself down beside her, looking over her shoulder at the folder. 'Where'd you get this from?'

'The girls made it for me. Do you like any of these?' She lifted it up slightly as he seemed to inch closer towards her neck, peppering kisses upon the sensitive skin. 'Caius.' She warned, knowing that he remembered their agreement about that.

'What?' He mumbled innocently as he continued his actions, to which she sighed. 'I'm not doing anything, not really.'

'Uh huh.' She said as she flicked through to another page. 'If you're going to-' She let out a gasp for a moment. 'If you're going to do that,' She resumed. 'Then please pay a little attention to what I'm trying to show you.'

'Fine.' He groaned, much preferring what he was just doing over planning things. 'Have you chosen your bridemaids?'

'I've asked my maid of honour, but not the others yet. What about you, Marcus, and Aro? Have you chosen your best men?' To this he chuckled.

'I think we may have a slight idea on who we may decide upon.' His smirk grew, when were you thinking?

'How about in June, perhaps July if we need a while longer to plan?'

'June 28th?' Caius suggested, it would give them enough time to send out the invitations and prepare it all, they were vampires after all.

'Perfect.' She turned to him and gave him a quick kiss upon the lips before hopping up. 'I'll ask the secretary to begin work on the invitations once we decide upon a design, just send me a list of whomever you'd like to invite, and tell Marcus, and Aro, to do the same.'

'Of course, I suppose that we're having the ceremony take place out in the large area of the gardens?

'That would be perfect, would you like to help me create some designs for the invitations?'

'It's not like those two would be any help.' He snorted as she rolled her eyes playfully, taking his arm that he now held out for her as they made their way to his studio.
