'HELLO THERE, MI AMORE.' Caius smirked as he caught Katherine trying to sneak up on him. 'Trying to scare me, are we?' he turned to find her with a defeated look of annoyance on her face.

'What are you painting?' she asked almost instantaneously, noticing that as soon as he heard her, he had thrown a white sheet over it, careful not to smudge the paint.

'Do you really want to know?' he asked as he stalked toward her, like a predator to prey. She nodded, though cautious to what game he was playing at this moment. 'Then, I suppose you'll have to wait.' Caius whispered into her ear, to which she groaned in irritation. 'Impatient are we?' the beauty that was his laugh filled the room.

'As if you don't know.' she murmured beneath her breath as she picked up a spare easel as hastily dragged it over. 'Could you teach me to paint? I want to learn more than a patchy-blocky-looking-thing.' Katherine cringed at her last attempt.

'It would be my pleasure, amore.'

She smiled in thanks as he prepared a fresh set of paints and brushes. 'Why the sudden interest in learning how to paint 'more than a patchy-blocky-looking-thing'?' he asked as he placed down the items in front of her.

'Just curious I guess. I want to be able to create beauty just like you do.' she answered as she picked up the brush that seemed the most normal.

'We'll start off nice and simple, anything you have in mind?' his question had her smiling, she immediately brought him toward a window that looked down upon a pond in the gardens, where a swan swam through the tranquil water, ruffling it's soft feathers every now and then.

'Ah, a keen bird watcher I see?' he smirked as he pulled her back toward the easel, his hand lightly holding hers as she gripped the brush, he lightly guided her movements but ensured that she'd still be able to move it properly.

'Remember, no wonky ears this time.' he whispered to her, obviously knowing that they didn't have ones that were visible easily, she only rolled her eyes playfully. 'I saw that.'

'If you say so.' she hummed, continuing her movements with the brush as he gingerly guided her. 'You know, I can't believe that it's almost the day of the wedding already.'

'Hm, time flies when you are having fun, though I have to say, it has been painful to wait so long for it.' he admitted truthfully, his crimson eyes glittering with the sunlight that poured through the windows. 'It can't come fast enough it seems.'

'I'm going to miss planning it all, you know. It was quite fun really.' she said glumly, she really enjoyed it all, the time she had spent late at night with the girls planning out certain things that they could do was something she'd miss, despite the fact she knew it'd continue afterwards, she'd make sure of it.

'Don't worry, I'm sure there will be many balls and events that you can host in the future, amore.' he reassured her. 'And I'm sure there shall be a high praise after each and every one.'

'I've picked out all of the dresses for the bridesmaids, you know.' she revealed to him as they finished the background for the image.

'I'm sure they're lovely, I heard you put Jane up to the task?'

'How did you know about that?' she asked.

'I have eyes and ears all over this castle, we know everything.' he teased her as he spun her around to face him. 'Don't you forget it.' he quickly pressed his lips to hers before setting the easel to the side, allowing the background paint to properly dry.

'Naturally.' she smiled at him, absolutely love-sick.

IT WAS GORGEOUS.

'Oh Heidi.' she felt herself wishing to cry as Heidi unveiled her drawn up plan for the look of the venue that was the great area of the gardens. 'It's beautiful.' Katherine gasped.

'And I'd expect nothing less of a reaction.' Chelsea grinned. 'Heidi can make a ruined warehouse look like a princess castle if she tries hard enough.' Heidi rolled her eyes, but smiled triumphantly all the same.

Heidi's eyes then widened as she must've realised something. 'Now I've just got to get it set up by tomorrow.' she tutted as she hurried off to begin rounding up the mass amount of guards she'd need to help her.

'Now now, you better get your beauty sleep, not that you'll need it of course, but you'd better get it anyway.' Chelsea began as she took Katherine's arm and dragged her towards her bedroom. 'I'll be here at the crack of dawn to get you ready for your special day. Remember, beauty sleep.'

Katherine only grinned while shaking her head at her antics in response, one Chelsea had left, she walked towards her dresser, she picked up her hairbrush as she pulled her locks out of the updo done for her by Chelsea that morning, then she pulled the object through her hair, ensuring it was nice and soft before she began to make a side braid down the right of her head.

She then just stared at herself for a moment, she hadn't really taken in her new appearance fully, sure, she'd seen herself, but she hadn't seen herself.

Sighing, she pulled on her nightwear after wiping off some makeup that was done for her that day in an experiment to pick a style for her wedding. It was then that she peeled back the duvet and blissfully curled up beneath it, smiling at the comfort it provided to her as her mind raced with thoughts about what would come the next day, praying that nothing would go wrong.
