The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a soft, golden glow across the room. You stirred slightly, nestled in the warmth of your shared bed, still half-asleep. Everything felt soft and comfortable, like a cocoon neither of you didn't want to break out of.

You could hear the faint sound of traffic outside, the world slowly waking up, but here, in this small, cozy bubble. Time felt like it had stopped. You blinked slowly, feeling the warmth of Yuji's body pressed against yours.

His arm was draped over your waist, his face buried in the crook of your neck. His breaths were steady and warm, his chest rising and falling in a soothing rhythm that almost lulled you back to sleep.

For a moment, you considered getting up—there was so much to do today. But as you started to shift, Yuji tightened his hold on you, letting out a small, sleepy groan.

"Don't go..." he mumbled, his voice muffled against your skin. "Please, stay."

You couldn't help but smile at the way he clung to you, his usually energetic self whacked clean out of the way by the remnants of sleep. Yuji was always so full of life, so eager to jump out of bed and tackle the day, but right now, he was different—soft, vulnerable, and not at all ready to face the world.

"Yuji, we have to get up," you whispered, though you made no effort to move. "We have things to do."

He shook his head slightly, his hair tickling your neck as he burrowed deeper into your embrace. "Five more minutes," he pleaded, his voice quiet and shaky. "Just... five more minutes."

You sighed softly, but it was more out of affection than frustration. You knew those five minutes would stretch into ten, then fifteen, and before long, half the day would be gone. But the way he was holding onto you, like he never wanted to let go, made it impossible to argue.

"Alright," you relented, shifting slightly so you could turn to face him. "Five more minutes."

Yuji's eyes were barely open, just a sliver of those warm, brown eyes peeking out from beneath his messy hair. He looked so peaceful, so content, and it made your heart swell with love. His lips curved into a small, sleepy smile as he snuggled closer, his arm pulling you tighter against him.

"You're too warm," he murmured, his breath warm against your cheek. "I don't ever wanna get up."

You laughed softly, the sound low and warm in the quiet room. "You're going to regret it later," you teased, though you knew he wouldn't. Yuji was the type to take things in stride, even if it meant rushing to get ready later.

"Maybe," he admitted, his voice still laced with drowsiness. "But right now, I don't care. Right now, I just want to stay here with you."

The sincerity in his voice made your chest tighten, and you felt yourself melting into his embrace. Yuji had that effect on you—his warmth, his kindness, the way he made everything feel a little bit easier, a little bit lighter. Being with him was like being wrapped in a soft blanket, safe and warm and so, so comforting.

You brought your hand up to brush his hair back from his forehead, your fingers trailing down to cup his cheek. His skin was warm and soft, his eyes fluttering shut at your touch. "You're really something, you know that?" You whispered, more to yourself than to him.

Yuji hummed softly, his smile widening just a bit. "Is that a good something?" He asked, his voice playful despite his exhaustion.

You leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead. "The best something."

He let out a content sigh, his hand slipping beneath the hem of your shirt to rest against your bare back. His touch was light, his fingers tracing lazy patterns on your skin. "You make it hard to get up," he murmured, his lips brushing against your collarbone. "When you're this close, I just want to stay here forever."

Your heart skipped a beat at his words, a soft warmth spreading through your chest. Yuji had a way of making everything sound so easy, so simple, and it made you want to believe that you really could stay here forever, just the two of you wrapped up in each other.

But as much as you wanted to stay, you knew you couldn't. There were things to do, people to see, and the world outside your little cocoon was waiting. Still, for just a few more minutes, you allowed yourself to stay there, to soak in the warmth of his embrace and the softness of his words.

"You know we really do have to get up eventually," you said after a while, your voice gentle but firm. The five minutes had been long over but you felt too bad leaving him alone when he was so adorable and pooped.

Yuji let out a dramatic sigh, his fingers stilling against your back. "I know," he admitted, though it was clear he didn't want to. "But I don't want to just yet.."

You couldn't help but laugh softly, the sound earning you a sleepy smile from him. "Why are you like this?" You asked, though there was no real heat behind your words. You were just as guilty of wanting to stay as he was.

"Maybe.." he paused, his voice soft, "maybe because I'm Gojo's kid."

Your heart swelled at his words, a soft, affectionate smile spreading across your face. "Yeah, you definitely are." You agreed, leaning in to press a kiss to his lips.

It was meant to be quick, just a small token of affection before you finally pulled yourself out of bed, but the moment your lips met his, you were lost. Yuji kissed you back with a lazy sort of passion, his lips moving slowly against yours.

His hand slipping up to cradle the back of your neck. It was soft and sweet, a gentle reminder of everything you loved about him, and before you knew it, you were sinking deeper into the kiss, letting him pull you closer.

By the time you finally pulled away, both of you were breathless, your foreheads resting against each other as you tried to steady your racing hearts. "Okay," you whispered, your voice slightly hoarse. "Maybe five more minutes won't hurt."

Yuji chuckled softly, his breath warm against your lips. "Good," he murmurs, though there was a knowing look in his eyes that said he was already planning on making it longer.

And as you settled back into his embrace, the world outside your little bubble forgotten for just a little while longer, you couldn't bring yourself to care.

Because right here, in Yuji's arms, everything felt perfect. And for just a little while longer, you were content to stay there, wrapped up in the warmth of his love and protection. You were safe.

You were home.
