« It's Halloween, and you're feeling bold. Maybe it's the mischievous air of the season. Or maybe it's because Gojo's been extra annoying this week, but you decide it's time for a little payback. »

The idea hits you like a curse—you're going to dress up as Toji Zen'in and scare the life out of him. After all, Gojo is your dad.. ish. And what better way to mess with him than by looking like the man who once handed him a devastating defeat?

You spend a good amount of time preparing. The black skintight shirt, the loose grey sweatpants, and of course, the bandages wrapped around your hands to mirror the ones Toji wore.

You slick your hair back, carefully avoiding looking too much like yourself. You even get a replica of the Inverted Spear of Heaven to complete the look. Staring at yourself in the mirror, you can't help but smirk.

You carefully put on a bit of eyeshadow along your lip to mimic his scar, a bit disgusted at the powder getting into your mouth. It's unsettling how much you look like Toji.

With your costume complete, you wait for the perfect moment. Gojo is always ridiculously carefree, especially on holidays like this. He's lounging around the house, probably gloating to himself about how clever and powerful he is.

Well, not for long. You slip into the living room, keeping to the shadows. Gojo's sitting on the couch, his Infinity dropped for once as he sips on something from his mug. You hold your breath, gripping the spear tightly, and slowly walk up behind him.

"Oi," you say in a low, cold voice. "Miss me?" Gojo freezes, and you watch as his entire body tenses. His cup of coffee clinks against the table as he sets it down. Slowly, he turns around.

His eyes widen behind his sunglasses, and for a moment, he just stares at you. The color drains from his face, and his usual confident grin falters into something you've never seen before: pure shock. For the first time in what feels like your whole life, Gojo Satoru looks absolutely rattled.

"Toji?" His voice is barely above a whisper. "You... You can't—" You hold back a snicker, keeping your expression serious. "Surprised to see me, Gojo?" You grip the spear tighter, stepping forward, and Gojo actually scoots back on the couch, his long legs scrambling to find solid ground.

"I thought I killed you," he breathes, still staring at you like he's seen a ghost. His Infinity flickers on reflex, but it's shaky, uncertain. You can feel the tension in the room, and it's everything you hoped for. Gojo, the strongest sorcerer in the world, is actually freaked out.

You decide to go for the kill—figuratively, of course. "Looks like I'm harder to get rid of than you thought," you say, dropping your voice even lower, channeling every bit of Toji's cold ruthlessness.

Gojo blinks rapidly, rubbing his eyes like he's trying to wake himself up from a nightmare. Then, finally, the pieces fall into place. He squints, studying your face more closely. His shock begins to fade, and his usual, cocky smirk creeps back.

"Wait a minute..." His voice shifts, amusement creeping in. "Megumi?"

You cross your arms, giving up the act with a sigh. "Took you long enough."

Gojo throws his head back, laughing harder than you've ever heard him laugh. "You little brat! You almost gave me a heart attack!" He wipes a tear from his eye, clearly enjoying himself now that the scare is over. "I gotta admit, you had me going there. The outfit, the spear—spot on. I'm impressed."

You roll your eyes, but deep down, you're pleased that you got to him, even if it was only for a moment.

"Don't think I'm going easy on you just because you're my kid, though," Gojo says, still grinning. "I'll get you back for this."

You shoot him a look. "You can try."

Gojo just smirks. "Oh, I will. You'll never see it coming."

« As he lounges back on the couch, you can't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. For once, you got the upper hand. »
