Chapter 034: Recovery
I slowly opened my eyes. I was in my room again.
"The amount of times you've passed out is starting to get concerning." I looked to my bedroom door to see Jon standing there, with his arms crossed.
"How do you always time walking in the room so perfectly?" I muttered as I ran my hands through my hair in an attempt to make it neater. I sighed as I laid my head back down on the pillow, and watched as Jon took a seat on my rollie chair.
"How long was I out?"
"Not that long. Only a day."
"Not that long, sure."
"It could've been longer." I blinked a couple of times as I looked up to the ceiling.
"So where's Mom and Dad?"
"They sent me up to check on you. They're probably going to come-" Jon was interrupted by a knock on the door, and we both turned to the doorway to see Dad.
"Hey munchkin." I smiled as Dad came and wrapped into a hug.
"How are you feeling?" I shrugged.
"Meh. Pretty crappy. So what I miss?"
"Well, Dad stopped the worlds from merging, and now he's getting another town party thrown for him." Jon replied.
"Average day. What happened to Ally Allston?"
"In high class security prison. Curiosity of the DOD." I nodded to Dad's response.
"So where's Jordy?"
"He went with Joe, Nat, and Sarah to go get food."
"French fries?"
"French fries!" I turned to see Sarah standing in the doorway, holding up a white Styrofoam box, with the other three. I immediately locked eyes with Joe, and he sent me a smile.
