September 4th, 2013 - Clarence House
Sitting in Christian's bed the couple were just relaxing for the night. Today was another busy day mainly focusing on the wedding as the wedding was around the corner.
Something had been heavy on Madison's mind and heart lately. She felt like this was something that the couple needed to do but mainly Madison, there was someone special she needed to meet.
There was a comfortable silence lingering in the room, that was until Madison broke the silence. "Love? There's something I want to ask you?"
Looking up from his laptop, Christian's eyes met with Madison's, "What is it sweetheart? Is everything alright?"
"Everything's fine. There's just something I wanted to ask you." Madison said.
Christian nods, "What is it?"
"Is it possible for me to meet your mother?" Madison asked. Deep down in her heart she knew she needed to meet Diana before she married her second eldest son.
Christian was silent for a moment, not knowing how to feel about Madison wanting to meet his mother. "You want to meet my mother?"
"Of course I want to meet her. It wouldn't feel right for me to marry you if I haven't met her yet." Madison explained. "It's something that I need to do... It's something that I want to do."
"I'll have to organise it but I would love for you to meet my mother." Christian said with a smile. It was about time that two of the most important women in his life met.

September 5th, 2013 - St Mary's Church, Althorp Estate
The couple woke up early this morning to go to St Mary's Church on the Althorp Estate to go and visit Diana. Christian had called last night and got the ok for the couple to visit his mother.
After parking the car at the side of the church the couple made their way towards the church. They decided to come early in the morning so they wouldn't attract any public attention. They wanted this moment to be personal.
Pulling the key to the gate out of his pocket, he began to unlock the gate, the couple stepping inside and immediately spotting the newer looking floors where his mother was buried.
Christian immediately spotted his mothers headstone, it looked newer than the others that were buried there, considering that his mother was buried here seventeen years ago.
The headstone read:
Diana, Princess of Wales
1 July 1961 - 31 August 1997
Gone but never forgottenMadison followed Christian as they made their way towards Diana. Gently placing flowers that the couple had brought with them.
Christian couldn't help but stare at his mothers headstone, this is the first time in a while that he's actually been to visit his mother.
Madison, also staring at her mother-in-law's headstone, didn't know how to feel in this special and emotional moment. She would've loved to actually have met her but this moment was just as special.
Looking over at Christian she could see that he was starting to feel a little emotional, she could see tears forming in his eyes and then suddenly the tears just started to flow.
She quickly pulled Christian into her embrace, comforting her fiancé. She wished that his mother was here for all these special moments in her children's lives as well as for her grandson and future grandchildren to come.
"It's okay my love. She would be so proud of you." Madison said, comforting Christian in the best way she could.
Leaving her embrace to look down at his mother he couldn't help but smile while thinking of all the happy moments they spent together.
"Hello mum, it's me Chris. I'm sorry it's been awhile since I last visited you." Christian said sadly. "But I've come to introduce you to someone very special to me... mum this is Madison, my future wife." Christian said with a smile on his face. "We're getting married in a few weeks. You would've loved her mum."
Christian would've loved to see Madison and his mother together, they would've gotten along very well together.
"It's lovely to officially meet you ma'am. I just wanted to say thank you for raising such a kind and loving man. I promise to take good care of him." Madison said, linking her arm with his.
"She really would have liked you sweetheart." Christian said softly, he looked down at Madison.
Madison smiled at what Christian had just said. She would've liked to think that they would have gotten along really well, Madison, Kate and Diana would have had such fun times together.
The couple had stayed for a few hours, Christian shared all of his memories and stories with his mother and his brothers. After staying for almost two hours the couple decided it was time to leave, before the crowds started arriving on the area.
"I'll be back more often to visit you mum. I'll bring Mads back once we're married and I'll even bring your future grandchildren here." Christian said.
"It was lovely to meet you ma'am. And we'll definitely be back more often." Madison said with a smile on her face. She was grateful that she has officially now met Diana.
Now back in the car, the couple left the Althorp Estate and made their way back to Clarence House. There was a comfortable silence until Madison decided to break it.
"Thank you for bringing me to meet her love." Madison said.
"It's my pleasure sweetheart. It only made sense that two of the most important women in my life were to finally meet. I just we would've done it a few years ago." Christian said, with a smile on his face.
"Me too love but the timing just felt right." Madison reassured Christian.
After arriving back at Clarence House the couple sent the rest of the day doing more wedding planning. The couple spent most of their days sorting out last minute wedding planning, as their wedding was only weeks away.
