[Let's pretend that England still needed to play this matches to qualify even though I know that the national team whose country hosts the tournament are directly qualified. Being this said, these fixtures are literally invented :) ]

Leah's POV

Today we have our first match of this camp. We're playing against Poland, it was not the strongest opponent but anything can happen. These last days we've been training to find connexions on the pitch between us, the players, we've been practicing different tactics changing every now and then the groups, so that Sarina could see with who we connect better. Sarina also insists that union within the team is the key to victory, that's why almost every night we would do activities in where we as a team or in mini groups needed to work together in order to win. The main reason was to get to know everyone and bond with all the teammates to establish this union among us, and I must say it's working.

Beth and I were now heading to the canteen to have breakfast before we would take off to the stadium. I grab some toast with butter, while Beth had some fruit and cereals. Beth then goes with Ellen, Millie and Rachel; and I go and sit with Lucy who appeared to be sitting with Jordan. I didn't mind it at all.

"Good morning" I say seating across Lucy, Jordan next to her.

"Morning" the both say in unison. There was a slight tension between Jordan and me which went unnoticed by Lucy.

"Ready for the match?" Lucy asks me.

"As ready as I can be, I think we can get the win if we do what we've been practicing on the pitch in trainings." I say and they both nod in agreement. We eat in a comfortable silence until my phone buzzes.

Liv <3 - Good morning Le, just wanted to wish you luck for the match. You'll be great like always. I love you❤️

I smile at the message, feeling butterflies in my stomach, she's always so considerate. Always thinks about the others, she's that kind of person that has a heart of gold and always helps everyone who needs it.

"Look at that smile, is it Andersson?" Lucy teases me which made roll my eyes at her.

"Shut up" I say trying to be annoyed, but a small smile gives me away.

"Leah you're blushing, ohh you've fallen hard" Lucy continues, I look at Lucy then at Jordan and Lucy catches that she better shut up.

"Right... as fun as it is to be here with you guys, I'm leaving! See you at the bus" And with that Lucy goes up to her room, or that's what I suppose. Silence then settles between Jordan and me, none of us saying anything. It wasn't uncomfortable but not comfortable either, it was awkward. But soon, Jordan broke it and what she said took me aback.

"Leah, don't you think you and Olivia have gone a little fast?" she asks. I just furrow my eyebrows and don't answer the question because I don't know what to say. Did we rush into this? "I mean, it's not even been 6 months since she's come back and you're already in a relationship"

"I don't-" I shake my head, I don't need to tell her anything "it's none of your business what I feel or not feel Jordan, not anymore" I say a little bit more harsh than intended. "Why do you even think that?" I ask her

"I-" Jordan sighs "since when have you two been dating or seeing each other?"

"What?"

"Since when have you two been seeing each other?"Jordan repeats

"Why do you care?" I snap at her.

"Just answer the question Leah"

"We uh...For three months. Since mid July" I say hesitant. I don't like where this is going.
