Olivia's POV
This weekend we are playing against Aston Villa. Today is our last training before the match, and Jonas told us yesterday that we would look at some new tactics as well as the relationships we've been building throughout the season, so that he chooses the best ones to help us win the game.
I consider myself someone who doesn't take anything for granted when they achieve their goal. So, even though, I know I have a place here in Arsenal I will never take ur for granted. I am resilient like almost eveyone in the team, we never back down and that's sonething that as a team makes us strong, our mentality is the same in this sense and that's sonething that helps us in impoetsnt matches like this one, because although Aston Villa are not between the top 5 in the table, things change, so we should never feel too much confident just what we need to keeps us going.

As I woke up, the sunrays hit straight to my face, making me turn to the other side. Why do I always forget to close the damn blinds?
After 10 minutes laying in bed, I get up and start my day, which today consists of playing the game, maybe going out and most likely Leah satying at mine.
As I go to the kitchen, I hear a noise coming from there. So I stop in my tracks, and grab the first thing that I see to try and protect myself, slowly I make my way through the kitchen.
"Don't move or I'll- " I start screaming until the person turns around and I immediately let out a sigh of relief. "Leah! you scared the shit out of me" I say annoyed, though for her it seems pretty funny since she starts laughing hard at me. "It's not funny! Stop laughing!"
"Except it is funny Liv! You should've seen your face of fear while trying to intimidate me" Leah says between laughs making me roll my eyes
"Shut up, besides... How the hell did you even get in?" I ask
"I have my ways" She says once she's calm down, with a cheeky tone. But I look at her with a face of 'seriously?' making her cough until she told me she knew where the spare key of the apartment was and so she used it.
"Could've of woken me up" I say, and then I realise that breakfast is made. Some toast with scramble eggs. "But I forgive you since you've made us breakfast" I tell her while sitting in front of her.
And so we have breakfast together while talking about the match and Leah still laughing at me. Once we finished we got ready for the match and then we both leave the house, heading to the stadium.

The match had begun, and we all knew that it was gonna be tough. Aston Villa started strong, pressing us very high, but so did we. It was, for now, tied between the two teams.
Also the rain along with the wind wasn't really helping. I was watching the match on the bench along with Anna Pattern, lovely girl I may say, and we were both looking at the match and now and then comment some of the tactics.
Soon, half-time came, and we went to the locker rooms, both teams determinated to get that goal. As we got to the changing room, Jonas started his speech, telling us to continue playing like we were back there and he changed some tactics. As the break came to a finish we all head back to the pitch, I was walking down the tunnel with Anna when Jonas told me to start warming up since he was planning to sub me in the 60th minute.
And so, as I head out, I started warming up, while the match started. From the sidelines I could see how hard the girls were trying to get that ball in the net. But then, in a sudden move I see Jordan on the floor, grabbing her knee in so much pain. At that moment I stop running trying to see if she was okay, but as soon as the phisios run to the pitch and Jonas called me to sub her off I knew that this wasn't a simple injury. Leah was by her side, trying to calm her down, and as Jordan was being stretched off, the referee on the sideline was preparing the substitution. This is not how I wanted to enter the game, but hopefully it won't be as bad as we might think and Jordan will be back soon. The referee then whistles letting me know I can now enter the pitch, so that we can continue with the game.

As soon as the match ended, Leah sprinted off to see Jordan. We won the match but we were all worried about Jordan because if this was a serious injury her opportunity of being called for the Euros would probably be inexistent.
I shook hands with my teammates and with the Aston Villa players, we then all head to the changing rooms, small conversation was made but eventually the room fell silent, everyone knows what this injury could mean for Jordan. She's had already some other injuries and we're aware of her struggle to return at her best level, but we also know that maybe she won't get to that level and Jordan also knows that, maybe that's why she was so devastated. I would be too if I was her, it's not fair for such an amazing player like her to continuously be injured. I know that we're not best mates but, we're teammates and I care for her.
"Do you think Jordan will be out for the Euros?" Beth asks breaking the silence
"I don't know mate, I saw her going down but didn't see what happened. Though I'm sure it wasn't an acl, but it still looked pretty bad" Katie adds
"We will have to wait and see, she will tell us when she's ready and I'm sure she will overcome this obstacle, as she always has done" I say trying to reassure everyone that she'll be fine. Jordans is someone very loved here, a gunner through and through and to lose such an important piece of the team will in a way affect us all.
"Yeah, she will, and also we're all here for her" Beth says with a small smile. "It's just, she's been getting a lot of injuries lately, and it's kind of unfair because she was returning to her best level, but now" Beth sighs
"Hey, she'll be back and stronger, she's resilient and a hard worker" I say and they all nod. "I think she's still in the medical room with Leah in case you want to go see her"
"Yeah, I'm gonna get changed and I'll go see how she's doing" Beth says and I nod.
As I leave the stadium, I sent a message to Leah.
Liv <3 - Hey Le, hope Jordan is well tell her that we're all thinking of her. Just text me when you know something, I know she needs you in this moment. Love you❤️
