Never felt like this before - Leah Williamson

Back from camp

Olivia's POV

These two weeks of international break have been good for me, I focused on improving my game in order to be better for the season, and also talked with Jonas about some new tactics. Obviously, it would've been great to be with the national team, but it didn't upset me that much, I know that if they need me they'll call me so my priority now is to focus on Arsenal and win as many trophies as we can.

Also, today Leah was back from camp. They secured their place in the Euros next summer here in England as they won against Norway. The match was tough, as Norway has a great team, but as a whole they didn't quite get each other so they would often make mistakes and England took advantage of that. Our team did a great performance on the pitch and I have a good feeling with the new manager.

It was now almost 6PM and Leah told me before, she would get to her apartment around 7PM, so that leaves me 1 hour before I need to head to Leah's. We both agreed that we would go out for dinner today and that I would pick her up. Although at first, I tried to convince her to stay in since I supposed she would be tired, but she insisted on going out so I didn't argue with her.

Just as I was about to head out, I hear a knock on my door, it took me a dew second to react as I didn't know who could be, I wasn't expecting anyone. When I opened the door to my surprise, Leah is standing there with her England tracksuit and with a bouquet of flowers. No words left my mouth, I didn't expect this.

"By the look of your face, I can confirm that I've indeed surprised you" Leah says laughing.

"Uh... well, yes, you did" I say and move to the side to let her in closing the door behind me. "I was actually about to head out to go pick you up." I say "Why are you here? I thought we were going out, but by your looks I suppose you've changed your mind"

Leah looks at what she was wearing and just shrugs. "I didn't feel like going out but I wanted to see you, so I just drove here"

"Oh you haven't gone home yet?" I ask her and she shakes her head.

"I told you we should stay in but you insisted on going out" I tell her, and walk to her grabbing the flowers "thank you for the flowers, they're pretty" I say and hug her.

I then put the flowers in a base and put them in the kitchen.

"Do you want anything to drink?" I ask Leah

"Just a glass of water please" she says and takes a seat on the isle. "You can change your clothes, you have some of yours in my closet" I tell her.

"Oh thanks, I'll be right back" She says and goes upstairs to change, while I leave the glass of water there and look around my pantry to see what we can have for dinner. I then opted for a salad of pasta nixed with some tomatoes and olives, though the toppings will be apart so then Leah can decide.

Soon enough, Leah comes back and she's with some grey joggers and a blue hoodie, I didn't realised at first that everything was mine.

"I thought I told you that you had clothes of your own here?" I say and raise my eyebrows a small smirk on my face.

"Did you? I couldn't find them" she says shrugging her shoulders. "So what are we gonna do? Order something or cook something?"

"You really are one of a kind Leah Williamson" I say shaking my head

"I'll take that as a compliment" she is now in front of me.

"you should" I say and kiss her, wrapping my arms around her waist and hers around my neck. I missed this. The feeling I get when I kiss her is like being a teenager all over again and having my first kiss, a special feeling. Her tongue brushes my lips so I give her entrance, I usually try to fight for dominance but this time I just let Leah take control. We soon pull away, giving us little pecks.
