Leah's POV

As soon as Beth drove away and we started to head at SGP she began to scream and squeal. I laughed at her silliness and smiled to myself, biting my lip.

"Okaay?! Leah when- what?" Beth starts and I just chuckled.

"Beth! Calm down please, and focus on the road first if you want to hear everything" I tell her

"Okay yeah, eyes on the road. But Leah what the- I'm so happy for you!" she says which made me smile.

"Thanks Beth I appreciate it, it means a lot" I say and we stop at a traffic light which Beth takes advantage to ask more questions.

"Okay, first of all, I saw it coming like I've always known you two would end up together" She says. "Then how has this happened? I'm surprised to say the least, didn't expect it but more than happy that happened" Beth went on on how excited she was, it seemed like she was the one in the relationship, but it was funny to see her like that and it calm me to see she was happy for us.

"Beth, it's in green" I say interrupting her.

"Right, sorry." she says and chuckles, she starts driving again and doesn't ask anymore, which I could see  she was holding back. 

"Beth you can ask whatever you want to know, just focus on the road" I tell her.

"Yeah? Can I ask you... Since when? " She asked

"of course, we've been seei-" 

"Wait no, just tell me everything" Beth says interrupting me making me shake my head at how much she loves gossip.

"Okay if you want to... it's not that interesting" I say to Beth trying to free me of explaining her all the story, I could just sum it up, though that didn't work

"Yes it is, come on tell me" She insisted

"Okay okay so... it started around June almost July, You know, she had came back to England and we were trying to go back as we were before we distanced. So we started to hung out a lot like we used to before. At first I think both just felt like always, just us two, but in a friendly way. It wasn't until we both went to the trip that our families do every year together, that one night I accidentally heard her say to one of her friends from Germany that she was considering the idea of liking me and I just- at first I was obviously shocked and didn't believe it, and then, without thinking I entered the room and said 'Me too'. "

"wow Williamson, never thought you had that courage to confront your feelings, but glad you did" Beth says which makes me roll my eyes.

"Hey! I confront my feelings, but I have to admit, I did it because I knew that she felt the same. Anyways, after that, we just agreed to take it slow, to not rush into anything because we didn't- don't wanna ruin our friendship. We were seeing each other for about a month and a half maybe? But then I think it was during preseason, we went on a date and she made it official. So that makes almost two months now since we are officially dating. And that's pretty much it" I say.

"Just happy for both of you, you two deserve the world" Beth says "Are you gonna go public then, like not hide it, at all?" she asks

"Yeah. We talked about it yesterday and we agreed on just being us, and not hiding" I say and look at my hands, I was fidgeting with my rings, an action I would do when I was anxious or nervous.

"Hey, you okay?" Beth asks as she noticed me being a little more tense now.

"Yeah, just that, I mean I'm not gonna tell the team as if it was like an announcement, I'll just confirm it if they ask if we're together. But I don't know what their reactions will be, especially Jordan." I say and look at the window and sigh. I could see already Saint George's Park.
