I had a good time eating breakfast with Calvin. I am not going to deny it. The entire time, he and I went back and forth, asking each other simple questions. When we finished eating our breakfast, our waiver picked up our plates, she asked us if we wanted to split the bill, Calvin and I replied yes.
"Aubree, what is our next activity of the day? Calvin asked me as we exited the restaurant's premises.
"I have a few suggestions on what we could do next, Calvin." I replied to his question, retrieving my phone from my purse to check my note.
"Okay, let's hear them and I will share which one calls my attention." Calvin told me as we walked back to his car.
Instead of getting into his car, I leaned my back against his car and started saying. "So, the first suggestion is that I found out there is a new local pottery painting which has been open for one week. The second suggestion is to buy books for each other to read and share what we thought. Or, the third suggestion, we could eat lunch at a food truck."
"All the suggestions you mentioned have called my attention. I think it would be a good idea to do the three suggestions if we can." Calvin shared his opinion, mirroring my movements, standing next to me.
"I was thinking the same thing, Calvin." I told him, putting my phone back on my purse and then I looked at him over my shoulder. "I had a feeling that you were going to say that."
"Since we are on the same page, let's do the suggestions in the same order you listed them." Calvin said, looking back at me. "That's good to know, Aubree."
"Well, lets don't waste anymore time and go to our second destination of the day. Can I have your car's keys? I will drive us there so you can catch a little break from driving." I said, pushed myself off his car to stand in front of him with my hand in the air.
Calvin stopped leaning his back against his car and then he reached into the back pocket of his jeans to look for his car's keys. "Thank you for offering to drive Aubree." Calvin thanked me, placing his car's keys in my hand.
"You're welcome, Calvin." I told him before I walked around the car to the driver's side.

My first time painting pottery was a highly good success if I say so myself. I painted a mug with little red and white dots and Calvin painted a plate with music notes on the color teal. Before we left the location after finishing, one of the employees informed us that they were going to call us in one week from now to pick up our pottery pieces.
Having a mother and an aunt who are owners of a local business. I try my best to support new local and small businesses who are recently open in the area that I live. If I end up liking the business I will recommend it to my family members and friends which is an amazing thing to help grow a new business. And now I am driving us to the food park to eat a quick lunch before going to my mother's bookstore.
"Aubree, where do you find these new local's business?" All the sudden, Calvin asked me at the same time, I slowly stopped at a red light.
I took my eyes from the road in front of me and started looking at him instead. "I didn't find them by myself, there is a blogger from LA that I follow on Instagram that gives recommendations of business and places located from LA. The blogger posted both about the pottery place and the food truck that where we are going to be eating lunch. I love the concept of people creating and building new businesses who are local. I love supporting new local small businesses in any way that I can. I believe it has to do with watching my mother and aunt grow their business from nothing while I was growing up."
"You need to share the username with me so I can follow it when you can." Calvin told me, turning up the air conditioning a little bit. "I love that you do support them is a pretty cool thing for you to do."
"I will tell you the username when we get to the food truck park." I replied to his question, looking back at the road when the red light turned green and I started driving again. "Thank you, Calvin." I tried my hardest not to blush due to the words that he just told me.
"Okay Aubree." Calvin told me as I felt his eyes on me. "Speaking of your mother and aunt, how are they doing?"
"You can ask my mother yourself when we see her later today. My aunt is doing super well, some days she is busy with running her business but I am going to see her this weekend at a dinner she is hosting at her house." I replied to his question, entering into the parking lot of the food truck's park.
"I hope you have a good time at your aunt's dinner this upcoming weekend." Calvin told me as I parked his car into one of the parking spots.

While we ate at one of the wooden picnic tables at the food truck park. Calvin and I spend the time continuing to ask each other questions just like we did at breakfast a couple of hours prior.
Unlike the ride over here, Calvin is the one driving towards my mother's bookstore to do our fourth activity of the day. In the background during the drive over here, I put on Taylor Swift's music, no surprise there.
As Calvin entered into my mothers book's store parking lot, I noticed how parked the parking lot was. As a result, it took Calvin some time to find an empty parking spot.
"It's there a book event taking place today?" Calvin asked me as he turned his car off and took off his seat belt.
"I don't think so, not that I know of. The only thing that I know is that my mother is working today." I replied to his question, taking my seat belt off then I opened the passenger's door and got down from his car.
"Okay Aubree, then we can go inside and see what's happening." Calvin said, walking towards me after he had hopped down from his car and locked it.
"I agree with you, let's go, Cal." I told him as I began walking towards the entrance of my mother's bookstore. I looked over my shoulder to see if Calvin was walking right behind me and he was.
I looked away as I approached the entrance of the book's store, I opened the door, held it open and waited until Calvin had walked inside before I walked in letting the door softly close behind me.
"Aubree and Calvin, hi! I didn't know you two were stopping by." My mother's excited voice reached my ears.
"Hello, Mrs. Emerson, we were neither as well until an hour ago." Calvin greeted my mother as I walked to him and stood next to him.
"Hey mom! We saw that the parking lot was almost full. It's there a book event happening?" I asked my mother, and I saw her walking out from behind the counter.
"I am glad that you two decided to stop by." My mother told us as she gave me a quick hug before she looked at Calvin with a soft smile on her face. "Aubree, you're correct, there is a last minute book signing event. Your father is here signing some of his books."
"Where is Dad? I want to see him." I asked my mother, looking at her.
"Aubree and Calvin, please follow me, I can take you to him." My mother told us before she started walking to where my father was. Calvin and I looked at each other very quickly before we began following my mother.
