"Since you completed the first stage of your research I invited someone here to celebrate with us." Melissa informed her father.
"Who would that be?"
"A person you dearly love."
Dave's eyes widened when they caught sight of the man in front of him.
"Yes I am here! Shaking with emotion for our heartfelt reunion!" All Might announced, posing as Y/n rolled her eyes next to him.
"Toshi-All Might!?"
All Might laughed, running to Dave and spinning him around. "I came all this way just to see you Dave ol' buddy!"
"Nothing romantic?" Y/n mumbled to herself.
Melissa peeked over the hero to her dad. "Papa are you surprised?"
"Yeah...completely astounded."
"We both have Melissa to thank for that." The two continued talking before All Might turned the attention to his apprentice. "Young L/n, I want to introduce you to someone incredible: David Shield."
"All Might please. I can do this myself." Y/n fumbled with her phone before calling a certain someone.
"Hello? Y/n? Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, just...can you tell me something about David Shield? I have to look like I actually know things about people I never met." Y/n gave the adults and Melissa an awkward smile.
David leaned a bit towards the hero. "L/n? Warpstride's daughter?"
All Might nodded in confirmation. He couldn't help but feel happy that the hero wasn't forgotten about. It was clear Y/n held him in high regards, no doubt Metronome as well.
"Professor David Shield!? A top scientist in the research field who received a Nobel Quirk Prize! He was All Might's partner when he lived in America and he's a genius when it comes to costumes! All Might's Young Age, Bronze Age, the Silver Age and of course the Golden Age! He's the inventor who created each of those iconic looks!"
Y/n glanced at everyone who was smiling at her, they could no doubt hear the boy's voice over the phone. "Alright, Nobel Prize and partner. Thanks Zuku I'll try to remember that." The male bid her goodbye and good luck as she slipped her phone in the pocket. She looked at the man with glasses. "You've done a lot of stuff." She took a quick glance at All Might. It made sense as to why Torino advised her to get a partner.
