Your Lie in April (fanfic)

Episode 3: The Encounter.

TWO YEARS LATER

~Shiori's P.O.V.~

ugh. being homeschooled is so not cool.

when will i ever get friends?? i only go outside when i go shopping with mom or dad. they never introduce me to anybody.

my teacher went home and now, i'm all alone. i picked up my guitar and strummed a few chords on it.

i don't know why, but the feeling of me touching the strings of my guitar makes me feel.. like crying.

i started playing the guitar when i was 14. i never knew the reason why though. i just want to play guitar, that's all.

i'm about to turn sixteen on July 4. as for a present, mom said i can go to school now. so i'll be starting all over again. i guess? i've been wanting this for so long.

but it's still too long. it's still in july and right now is still April.

"Shiori! I'll go shopping. would you like to come?" mom yelled downstairs as i am now in my room upstairs.

"yes mom!" i gathered up my things as i dressed up to go with my mom.

we only commuted since dad got work to do. our cake shop is now booming with customers where in we are really now busy with.

when we got to the mall, we passed by a music shop, there i found a beautiful, well polished violin. i stopped walking as i looked into it. it's like, luring me to go and play it. i don't know why but me myself, wants to play it too.

"what are you looking at Shiori?" mom asked.

i pointed out the violin.

"y-you want to play that?" she asked as if i said something she seems so afraid of.

"n-never mind." i looked away from the violin and continued on walking.

we went into the department store and shopped for clothes. mom and i got separated but she's cool with it now. i went outside the department store and went to a nearby pastry shop.

i wanted to buy caneles but it seemed that it doesn't have those there. as i looked upon the sandwich section, i picked up the tamago (egg) sandwich, i bumped into a guy with glasses like mine and who's like the same age and height (i think) as mine.

"s-sorry miss..." he turned and looked at me with a worried face but it suddenly changed as if he saw a ghost.

"K-kaori?"
