Episode 17: Fever

~Kaori's POV~

i woke up early since it's already monday. school.

but somehow, i can't manage to get myself up.

i already told mom that i let my friends know who i really am. tears were there and lots of sad things. the situation is that i don't know how to face Kousei.. i mean he obviously knows i love him. mom gave him my letter. (mom said it to me last night.)

and i already know he loves me... but he didn't technically said it to me but to Shiori back then.

i took my phone from my side table near my bed and looked at my messages.

2 texts from Watari.

1 text and a missed call from Tsubaki.

1 missed call from Kousei.

i checked Watari first. it was sent last night.

"hey, you okay? call me back."

"why didn't you tell us? why didn't you tell me? Kaori.."

i feel my face hot, my eyes misty.

i checked Tsubaki's, it was also last night.

"I'M SO SORRY! i didn't mean to. i thought you were alone and i.. i.. just... call me when you read this. please. i'm really sorry. i'm so sorry." it's okay Tsubaki-chan, you just said the words i never had courage to... to confess what i was hiding.

a missed call from...... Kousei.

3am in the morning? what the?

i checked the time, 6:08am.

my phone rang. Kousei.

"......Kousei?" i picked it up. fudge, my heart's running wild!

"stuuuuuupid." his voice husky and a little bit sore. i would've said the same at him too but with what happened last night, i think not.

"are you okay?" i asked.

"Kaori.." i can hear his voice breaking. he called my name. MY name.

"you're not okay. i'm going there to get you." then i hung up. BAKA KAORI! why'd you do that!? Shiori screamed at me inside my head.

right.. i'm not ready to meet up with the guy.. uh huh. and you just said you're going to get him. genius Kaori, genius! i'm being scolded by her. great.

i quickly freshened up and ate breakfast. i hurried my way to Kousei's, as i entered their lawn and door belled, there came him in his pj's.

pfft- no, don't.

"you're all flushed." i said. he glared at me.

"aren't you going to school?" i asked. he closed the door. fudge!

i opened the door and went inside. he got all shocked and i grabbed his hand. he then, slapped my hand away. he's burning hot. no.. seriously.

i glared back at him and snatched his hand as i dragged him to his bedroom.. his bedroom.. O///O no! concentrate!! >///<

how could i not concentrate? well, we did grew up.. 2 years can do pretty large amount of change and he did.

he has ruffled hair, almost unbuttoned shirt and in his pj's. he's flushed red and his eyes....... blank.

now that made me feel sad instead of swooning.

"sit." i put him still on his bed and asked where he puts their medicine. he refuses to tell me cause he just stares at me. a lot.
