~Kaori's POV~
the boys came and saw us.
"guys!~" Watari waved at us and we gave them that too.
when they're finally in front of us, Watari said "what's wrong with your eyes?"
"we umm.." Tsubaki-chan said thinking how are we supposed to get through this.
"we.. i told her.. a story! yeah, haha. that's right." i exclaimed. i hope this works.
"i told her a tragic love story anime i just watched last week." i reasoned out.
"ahh.. well, don't watch too much anime that makes you cry." Kousei said.
"well, you never can get enough anime." i answered back.
"let's go to Kousei's house and celebrate his victory on the contest!" Watari said holding a box and i think its cake.
"i haven't won yet." Kousei said scratching his nape, face flushed.
"you're recent victory idiot." Tsubaki-chan said. her eyes doesn't fix on anything. she's nervous.
"okay." his vague reply.
"l-let's go." i grabbed Tsubaki-chan's arm and walked down the street towards Kousei's house. Tsubaki-chan gives the directions and here we are.
as i walked inside his house, it was a mess. but there was one thing i didn't really wanted to see.
that girl.
"Kousei! i said come play it with me. where were y-" she looked at me like she saw a ghost. i wanted to glare at her. why are you here? practice on your own!
"they're my guests Nagi. let's practice tomorrow after school, alright?" Kousei looked at her and although he's stammering a little, he became somewhat more mature. he's become more manly than i thought he'd be.
"okay sensei." oh, he's her teacher.
Nagi walked pass us and bowed before she went out the door.
i sense that the air tenses up. silence.
"so you're a teacher now?" i faced Kousei. "is she your only student??" emphasize the word 'only'.
argh.. i feel irritated.
Tsubaki-chan looks at me biting her lower lip trying hard not to laugh.
"i.. uh.." Kousei, dumbfounded.
"yup!" Watari says, head up and proud saying she's the only student Kousei has.
fudge.
after a while, they ate the cake, that's for the victory party and my birthday, and i went to look around his house not speaking to Kousei. my blood's still boiling hot.
i went outside his house and sat down their lawn looking at the beautiful sparkling sky. now this might calm my nerves.
i heard the door open. Kousei.
"why are you outside?" Kousei asks me as he closes the door. and i think Tsubaki-chan and Watari are brawling inside with all the ruckus i hear. he sits down beside me.
"catching some air." i vaguely said.
"are you mad?" he asks.
"no." yes.
"haven't you started practicing for your finals?" i ask trying to hide my irritation but it didn't work.
"you're angry. was it the place? i haven't cleaned up yet."
"no stupid. instead of practicing your piece, you're teaching that kid that's already good enough."
".....no. it's nothing." why did i fall again for this guy in the first place?
"y-you know i heard what you just said." he looks at me trying to hide his smirk. i said it out loud? O.O
"are you smirking at me??" i asked raising an eyebrow at him.
"no."
"yes you did!"
"no i didn't!"
"you did!"
"didn't!"
"you did!!"
"i said, NO!" he yelled at me. fine then.
"YOU DID!!!" i yelled back. both our faces sour and our eyebrows furrowed. i'm frowning and he glares back at me. then we laughed our hearts out. i really can never get hold of my anger at him.
"don't tell me you're jealous?" he whispers to himself, although i could hear him clearly.
"of course not! why would i? bleh!" i made a silly face at him and he laughed but his eyes were saying he's disappointed.
oh well.. i actually am.. a little. (*>.<*)
