Episode 12 (2.0): Arcade

a/n: this is a -behind the scene- where right after Kousei ran and the others catch up to him as well. (umm so i thought that these two would be partners haha. well, Kaori liked them together. xD)

~third person's POV~

Kousei take lots of turns to make his friends lose sight of him. Kaori, still running after Kousei, Tsubaki and Watari came to a stop and just let the other two run on their own.

Watari took Tsubaki's arm. "hey! you let them escape! why are we stopping anyway?" she yelled at Watari.

"would you still follow him even if you feel like he still hasn't moved on from Kao-chan?" Watari, facing Tsubaki with his serious face which is rare for his friends to see since he's always goofy.

"h-he's my b-boyfriend. of course i'll---" he cut her off.

"let's go to an arcade." he said smiling.

"huh? wait. no! i need to follow them!" she said.

~Tsubaki's POV~

what does this baka have in mind now!? he let them escape.

now he wants to go to an arcade?? huh? what's with him!?

i wanted to go and follow Kousei but

"where will you find them exactly?" Watari asked me.

okay. i'm completely clueless.

"just text him you're with me. i just wanted to go to an arcade after visiting Kao-chan. c'mon, my treat~" if i did that.. would he be jealous? wait. we haven't visited Kao-chan!

"let's visit Kao-chan first. with or without Kousei and Shiori." i said. then i saw him make those goofy puppy eyes.

*dug dug dug dug dug dug

my heartbeat races. huh?

"then we could go arcading." i let it out in exasperation.

then he smiled. why do i feel like there's something tugging my heart?

we went to Kao-chan to pay respect. i already contacted Kousei for like 11 missed calls already and 5 messages. i said i was with Watari and that we'd go arcading after we're done paying respect to Kao-chan.

no replies coming from him.

i checked my watch. 2:30 pm. Kousei's performance is still 6:30 i can make it in time. there's still plenty to waste.

"let's go!~ yeehee!" the idiot next to me jumped out with glee, it's embarrassing to be with this guy. argh.

"would you stop it!?" i hit him on his head.

"ow! stop hitting me would ya!" he yelled at me so loud i closed my eyes. when i opened them up, i saw Watari's face so close to mine. his eyebrows furrowed and he's frowning. i can feel his breath. gosh.

*dug dug dug dug

please no.

"haha! i scared you. bwahahaha!" he laughed out loud.

"BAKA!" then i tried to hit him again but he dodged me. we went around in circles not noticing he led me straight to the arcade.

"leggo." he took my hand and we went straight in there.

we played lots and teased each other a lot of times. i really had fun.

i went to see the crane machine if there were any good stuff animals i could get. then i saw the brown teddy bear with a star on its back, a turtle with a blue shell and a mixed pink and brown monkey.

"you want one?" he asked trying to hide his smile. ugh he's so laughing at me.

"yeah, so?" i rolled my eyes at him. i want that bear.

"i'll get one for you. shoo." did he just shooed me? T_T but its the thought that counts, right?

"i'm gonna go get snacks" i said.

when i got back to Watari, he was holding the stuffed animal. the monkey?

"but i wanted the bear!" i said.

"you never said that. and besides, it looks like you. hahaha!" that's it! i put the food in one place and then i hit him again on the head.

"i told you to stop tha- haha.. hahaha! stop! Tsubaki, sto- hahahaha!" i tickled him until he tears up from laughing.

"HAHAHA STOP, TSUBA-HAHAHA!" aw poor Watari, oh well. bwahaha! >:3

"mom, look! there's a couple!" a kid pointed out to us and i stopped. stupid kid. i think i'm blushing.

then just when i thought things were getting worse, Watari put his arm over me. the fudge!?

*dug dug dug dug dug dug

i tried to get back into my nerves then i pushed him away. "stupid." i mumbled.

i've never experienced this with Kousei.. even if we've been dating for a year now. all he's about is his studies, piano contests and i guess, Kaori.. but i don't know.. guess it wasn't me who's filling his head.

i saw the monkey he's holding. "give me that." i snatched the thing away from his hands. "now you bring the snacks i bought."

"huh? no fair!"

"you're a guy right?" i said. then i hand signaled him that if not, i'm going to tickle you till you drop.

"fine, jeez." he got the food. when i looked at my watch, it's already 6:47 pm. crap, i'm late!

"Kousei's performance! we're late!" i said. then he got shocked. he looked at his watch. "oh yeah.. well. what are we going to do?"

"let's go there!" i said.

"nu-uh. if we go now, we'll never catch up to his performance." he said shaking his head.

"hey i know, let's go to a bakery shop and buy a cake when he gets back. he didn't visit Kao-chan on her birthday, so lets make him celebrate it. and besides, it's like a victory party for him as well." Watari continued.

"and while we're at it. let's eat. i'm hungry. ugh." he acted as if his stomach is hurting.

"fine.. your treat!" i said. then i ran hearing him say "no fair!" i looked back at him and saw him running to me. i just smiled and let my heartbeat run wild.

haha! what a goof.
