The first thing Taehyung did as soon as Jungkook dropped him at his home was to make hangover soup for Jungkook. He noticed throughout the day how his friend was off and that worried him. He quickly freshened up and made his way towards Jungkook's house with the soup.
But he was met with disappointment when the maid told him that Jungkook was not home. He quickly texted Jungkook, telling him that he was home, and decided to wait only for Jungkook to reply after a few minutes, saying he'd be late.
Taehyung pouted and let out a deep sigh after reading the text. "Give this to Kookie and tell him to finish it all." He gave the soup to the maid and left with slumped shoulders. He gave one last look at the mansion before he left.
"I am sorry, Tae," Jungkook muttered under his breath as he looked at Taehyung's retreating figure through the glass. He rushed to Taehyung when he walked in but he contained his emotions and instructed his maid to lie to Taehyung.
He kept looking at him when Taehyung sat in the living room, hugging the soup container on his lap. It took everything in him not to run towards Taehyung and hug him tight for caring for him, but this feeling was exactly why he was doing what he was doing.
As soon as he saw Taehyung get into the taxi and leave he swiftly made his way downstairs, almost snatching the container out of the maid's hands, startling her.
Every sip of the soup reminded him of Taehyung, and how much he loved his cooking, especially the hangover soup, he was having right now. His heart was bursting out with emotions, something he was supposed to avoid, but no matter what, he kept ending up thinking about Taehyung.
Avoiding someone's physical presence is one thing, but not being able to get them out of your mind is a whole different story. How would you avoid that? How do you get away from your own thoughts?
His fingers were itching to text Taehyung, call him, talk to him, but he held back. He wasn't up for going out, so he opted to pass the time in the game room as a distraction.
