"It's good, right? He told me that my past wouldn't matter. So, that's out of the way." Jungkook said, his voice filled with hope and Yugyeom nodded encouragingly.
"I have a doubt." Eunwoo was about to speak up but Jungkook glared at him before nodding slightly, gesturing for him to continue.
"I mean, what you said is good and all, but Taehyung thinks you are in love with someone else, and he is supporting you wholeheartedly. I don't know if it's a good thing or bad. He is not even considering the thought that the person might be himself."
Jungkook frowned, lost in thoughts. All this time, he has been waiting for the right moment. One moment to give him that hope but whatever he built up until now seemed to crack slightly hearing Eunwoo.
"GUYS!! KOOKIE!!"
They all turned towards the familiar voice and found Taehyung running towards them waving with a wide smile.
"I have to talk to Jin first. We will discuss this later." He quickly whispered to his friends before he looked at Taehyung with a smile and waved back, his mood immediately lightening. Yugyeom and Eunwoo did the same as Taehyung reached them.
"I am so excited!!! This is my first college trip!!" Taehyung squealed despite how breathless he felt with all the running.
Jungkook wasn't really fond of these things. If not for Taehyung, then he wouldn't even be there and hence his friends. But now, he was going and excited too because Taehyung was going to be there.
"Aren't you all excited?" Taehyung grinned, shifting the strap of his bag on his shoulder. Jungkook simply took a step closer and took the bag off his shoulder, carrying it himself. Taehyung knew better than to protest. Jungkook always wins anyway.
He smiled at Jungkook and gave him a grateful nod.
"We are. Your energy is kind of getting me even more excited." Eunwoo said, and Yugyeom nodded, agreeing to his words.
"What about you Kookie?"
Jungkook's lips twitched into a small smile, his gaze softening. "Yeah, I am excited."
"Alright, everyone! We are ready to start boarding." The coordinator announced.
Taehyung practically bolted towards the bus fisting Jungkook's sleeve, pulling him along. Jungkook followed him with a small laugh and a shake of his head.
Taehyung settled in the window next to Jungkook as he continued to talk about everything he was looking forward to in the camp.
"That'll be all?" The coordinator stood at the front, informing everyone they'd be starting soon
"Wait! Jin’s not here yet.” Jungkook said swiftly. He planned to talk to Jin as quickly as possible about everything he discussed with Eunwoo and Yugyeom.
