The moment Jungkook shared the details of the night with his friends, they started patting his back and saying it was progress because Taehyung was jealous.
Jungkook couldn't believe it. Why would Taehyung feel jealous? Does he feel the same? His heart almost burst out in giddiness at the thought of Taehyung being jealous. But jealous or not, he didn't want to take any chances, so he had to make it clear again to Taehyung that nothing was going on between him and Jin, in case he didn't remember anything.
Like he guessed, Taehyung indeed didn't remember a single conversation from the previous night once he woke up with a throbbing head. Jungkook took care of everything and gave subtle hints that he wasn't interested in Jin that way, but when he understood Taehyung wasn't getting it, he gave Jin a pleading look, who jumped in and talked about his 'girlfriend', making it indirectly clear that he wasn't interested in Jungkook.
Everyone looked intently at Taehyung, ready to catch the slightest expression on his face and everyone noticed his shoulders relax and gave Jungkook a teasing smile. The remaining part of the trip went with Taehyung losing up to the previous day, back to his usual self, and with Jungkook thinking about the ways to confess to Taehyung with a newfound push. With everything Taehyung told him, hope was raised in his heart. Maybe Taehyung changed his mind about love; maybe once he heard Jungkook confess, he would realize them too as Jungkook did.
