"Kookie!!" Taehyung called as soon as they were out of class. Jungkook turned around and raised his eyebrow. "Yes?"

It felt so distant and so different looking at Jungkook. Taehyung didn't know if he was just thinking too much or maybe the other was just not in the mood but he didn't want to point anything out and turn it into something that it was not.

"You need something?" Jungkook asked, getting no reply from the other.

Taehyung came out of his thoughts but he didn't know how to strike a conversation. He never felt this way with anyone, especially not Jungkook. Not even when they were strangers but now, the indifference in Jungkook's eyes made him uneasy.

He composed himself, putting on the best smile he could. "You came early!! You don't need me to wake you up anymore!!" He said casually, hoping every negative feeling he felt was just in his head and nothing more.

"Ya. I guess so." Jungkook shrugged his shoulders and continued, "Can't trouble you anymore."

Taehyung frowned at that. Since when did doing things for and with best friends turn into trouble he wondered. "No, Kookie. It's not a trouble. I love--"

"I have a class. I need to go or I'll be late." Jungkook interrupted him and immediately turned around to leave excusing himself, not bothering to wait for a reply.

Now Taehyung was sure something was definitely up. Jungkook would insist him to wake him up, and walk him to classes. Taehyung took a deep breath and nodded to himself. "It's okay. He must be in a bad mood. I'll be a good friend and stay by his side." He motivated himself and went to his class.

Taehyung kept running towards Jungkook's class. He left his class early so he could get lunch with Jungkook like they usually do. Because if Jungkook was upset or sad about something, he'd skip lunch.

Taehyung wanted to be with him, keep him company, anything to help Jungkook.

Jungkook walked out of his class, laughing with Eunwoo, which brought a smile to Taehyung's lips. He was happy that the other's mood must be okay.

"Kookie!" He waved, making his presence known, and as soon as Jungkook's eyes met his, the smile on his face fell. Taehyung face fell too. Didn't he want him here?

"What are you doing here?" He asked stepping towards him with his hands stuffed in his pockets.

"What do you mean, bro? It's lunchtime. Of course, he is here for lunch." It was Eunwoo who answered, weirded by Jungkook's question.

Eunwoo looked at Taehyung, who looked nervously at Jungkook while playing with his fingers. On the other hand, Jungkook kept looking everywhere but at Taehyung, deliberately avoiding his gaze.

"Don't worry Hyung. Your Kookie here has a bad memory. He forgot that we have all had lunch together." Eunwoo wrapped his hand around Taehyung's shoulder to light up the mood, who giggled at his words.

"Aish, look at you hyung. Did you run all the way here? You are sweating." Eunwoo took out a tissue and dabbed on Taehyung's forehead and cheek.

"I am leaving. You can come after you are done."

They heard Jungkook say and leave. This time, it confused Eunwoo too. He expected Jungkook to push him away. Even though he started to just see Taehyung smile, he wanted to tease Jungkook too and this was not what he expected.

When they reached the cafeteria, Jungkook was already seated next to Yugyeom. Taehyung got his lunch and sat next to Jin. Everyone at the table was confused when Jungkook didn't sit with Taehyung.
