Kenzie sat on the couch in Dr. Carmen's office while he sat on a chair nearby. Kenzie's therapist, Dr. Robin, hasn't appeared for work. Now, she was stuck with Teresa's therapist.
Kenzie crossed her legs and arms across her chest. "You know we do this too, right?"
"What's that," asked Dr. Carmen.
"Silence as a weapon. Make people uneasy. Make them talk."
"I get paid whether you talk or not, Mackenzie."
Kenzie cringed at the sound of her first name. "You don't need to call me by my first name. Also, CBI's been paying you for five weeks now, and you're not my actual therapist."
"I know. But someone needs to sign you off."
"Oh my God. Just like I told Dr. Robin, I didn't pull the trigger. Patrick did. You signed him off after one session."
"He has good mental health."
Kenzie scoffed. "Really. I should see your license to practice."
Dr. Carmen laughed.
"Look, I'm really busy today. So, you could just..."
"It's not as if you have anything to talk about. Your father was killed in front of you when you were 10; placed into a mental hospital at age 14; has a history of depression and sch–"
"I've never had schizophrenia."
"I'm just reading what the file says."
"Are we done here or..."
"No. Let's talk about what you want to talk about. What do you do for fun?"
"Why do you want to know?" Her phone rang. "Res. Why are you calling me?" She slowly starts to get up. "Oh, okay. I'll be right there. Bye." She hung up.
"Duty calls. I get it."
"Yeah. So, if you could sign me off, that would be great."
"There's something you want to say." Kenzie looked at him with a mixture of surprise and confusion. She walked away.

Kenzie and the team walked down an alleyway where Van Pelt was waiting for them.
"How'd we catch this one," asked Teresa.
"Switchboard got an anonymous call saying there's a dead body. It's two blocks from us. Here we are," said Cho.
"There's just one problem."
"No body," asked Patrick.
"No body."
The team looked at the dumpster, specifically Rigsby. "Ah, not the dumpsters. Please, not the dumpsters."
"Look around for the body. See what you see," said Teresa.
Teresa looked at the area where she, Kenzie, and Patrick were standing. The others looked for the body.
Patrick leaned over to Kenzie. "Shrink day, huh?"
"Huh," said Kenzie. "No."
"Yes. Your leg has a slight bounce to it, and you keep messing with your necklace. Dr. Robin wasn't in, so you had to deal with Lisbon's shrink–"
"Everyone knows she wasn't in this morning."
"He annoys you, and you smell a little of his cigar smoke."
"That might be it, but Res practically rushed me out of the office."
"Hmm."
"Cho, anything," called out Teresa.
