– Are you okay? – he asked with a look in her eyes.

– Not really – she groaned and showed him her hand which was covered in blood.

– He crouched down as close to her as he could, looking at her vaguely, he noticed a cut on her head - don't fall asleep – he looked at her and saw that she was paling - besides your head, do you feel any pain anywhere?

– No – she mumbled as she felt her head spinning. She handed him a pocketknife. He looked at it, and that was how she punctured his car tire. He decided to save it for later and not bring it up now.

Samuel put his arms around her and cut the seat belt, Lea was hanging on to his arms. Someone broke the driver's side door, she had the feeling she was slowly losing consciousness, there was a flash of someone's hands for a few moments, but she noticed nothing else.

– She lost consciousness - said the pilot of the helicopter who was helping Samuel to pull the girl out of the car.

– A helicopter from the nearest hospital is on its way – said Henry, running to them.

For fear of spontaneous combustion, Samuel moved the girl a little further away from the cars and carefully laid her down on the grass.

– Lea, can you hear me? – he asked with a note of concern in his voice, he was really worried about her.

Henry handed him the first aid kit from the helicopter, and Samuel took out some gauze and a bandage and bandaged the cut on her head as best he could. Seven minutes later, the helicopter from the hospital landed not far from them. Lea was taken to the nearest hospital, with which Lea's family had a private medical care agreement, under Samuel's escort.

As the helicopter approached to land on the roof of the hospital, she woke up.

– Don't get up – the doctor said when he saw the girl trying to sit down.

Lea took off the oxygen mask that was on her face.

– I'm fine – she said with a touch to her forehead, but the doctor took her hand away.

– Lie still – Lora repeated – you might be concussed.

Lea looked around and noticed Samuel looking at her.

– Thank you for getting me out of the car – she said, struggling to get out of being tied up.

– Don't get up – he said, noticing that she had managed to undo the straps. He shook his head disapprovingly, seeing that she didn't seem to mind his words.

The helicopter landed, the doctor and paramedic got out first. Samuel got out after them, and then they pulled Lea out.

– I'm fine – she repeated as the medic buckled her back into her seat.

– We'll have a look at you right away to make sure you're okay – said the doctor, who had known Lea since she was a child; the girl was a frequent visitor to this hospital, so the staff had experience with her.

Lea knew everyone here and challenged almost everyone's opinion, while her sister rarely came here and listened to the doctors.

– CT scan on cito – Lora said to the nurse holding the elevator for her – plus a morphology and a drip.

– Don't get in the way – Samuel chuckled as they entered the elevator. He noticed that she had unbuckled herself again.

He held her down and put his hand on top of the clasp. Lea noticed that he had a few small, fresh cuts on his arms.

– You should have a checkup too – she said – you probably have a concussion or something.

Samuel had a serious look on his face, but after a moment he had a wide smile. It was probably the first time Lea had seen him in such amusement. He looked completely different, when he had been so serious with his penetrating eyes, then she had been afraid of him, but now he was smiling at her and all that fear had disappeared somewhere. He finally looked so human.

– You must have hit yourself hard – he said, still laughing.

– Why? – she asked, not understanding.

The elevator doors opened.

– Because you were starting to worry about me – he added, still laughing as he stayed behind.
