She nodded, it wasn't really her concern, but the pattern was the same, how could she forget it? Maybe she really did have a concussion.

– And aren't you supposed to be going on some rounds.

– There are only three patients in the ward – Ned said.

– That's the way it is.

– You have a hard time keeping an eye on just one person, so don't act up – Ned replied.

Lea started to laugh.

– Your eyes worry me a little – Ned said, looking at her – I thought the drip would change something, but it didn't help.

– I can see well, too well – she looked at Samuel – they don't hurt.

Samuel raised his eyebrows in question when he saw the look in her eyes.

– I won't sit in the corridor – he said.

– I can put the chair out for you – she suggested, and he laughed.

– Just try it – he threatened, taking her penknife from his pocket – and you'll be saying goodbye to it.

– That is blackmail!

— I hope it works – he answered and hid the knife, his phone rang – oh, your assistant is calling — he turned to the girl and answered the phone – hello Marika, want her on the phone? – he held the phone out to Lea. The girl moved away from Ned and approached Samuel, taking the phone from him.

– Hi – she replied, putting the phone to her ear. She took a seat on the bed.

– Hi Lea, I've heard that you don't have a phone, so I decided to call Samuel – the girl was always busy working, she'd only taken it for a short time because her predecessor went on maternity leave. Lea had asked her to speak to her in a normal way, and for the first few months she had had a problem with that, because she called every other member of her family "Your Highness", which Lea found amusing – I'm calling to inform you of today's conference.

Lea sighed heavily and rolled her eyes, for a moment she was still under the illusion that nothing would come of this meeting.

– I have a suggestion – Lea replied – before you come back here with flowers and- balloons, maybe it's worth considering the decoration of the children's room in the wards. It makes no sense to decorate the room you're in when I'm leaving the hospital soon.

– This is ordered from above, coming from the Queen – Marika began.

– So why are you calling me and not talking to her? – Lea was irritated.

Marika became quiet, she didn't like talking to Princess Lea, the girl always made her lose her balance.

– I'm just calling to give you some information – Marika said, close to tears, which Lea could tell by the change in her assistant's tone.

– Okay, whatever – Lea sighed heavily – I'll take care of it myself - she hung up and threw the phone to Samuel, who caught it and put it in his pocket.

– What are you going to take care of yourself again? – he asked without understanding.

– You're not going to help me – she explained.

– I'm here for a different kind of thing.

An hour later, Marika personally delivered the dress Lea should leave the hospital.

– Thank you – Lea took the bag and unpacked it.

A long, dark green dress with flowers on it appeared in front of her eyes. They always gave her long dresses because she often bruised her legs, and now it was the same. After the accident she had even more scratches that were not photogenic and new bruises.
