– Seriously? – Samuel smiled when he saw her face.
– I thought you dreamed of a big wedding with family and friends, a royal wedding and all that.
– And who's to stop us from having more than one wedding? – Samuel looked into her eyes, which looked at him suspiciously.
– You've planned everything well – Lea threw.
– I didn't plan the ship – Samuel explained, dispelling her doubts.
– It's true, I didn't plan that either. That's how suspicious this trip began to look to me.
– I didn't expect you to be completely surprised, but I knew who I was dealing with. The only question is, what will make you feel comfortable?
Lea didn't answer him right away. She watched his face, her gaze tracing every inch of it. He didn't disturb her in her thoughts. The fact that she didn't give him a categorical "no" meant a lot to him. She confirmed his belief that she wanted to be with him, that she wanted to be with him and that she was planning her future with him.
– My father will kill me if he finds out that we didn't get married in the cathedral – Lea said after a moment of silence.
– He won't – Samuel replied in a calm tone – I told him what I wanted to do, he expressed understanding and supported this decision as long as we do everything right later.
– I should be upset that my father is the first to know about these things. But this is not a normal family, it can't be normal here.
– Because you are not normal – Samuel added.
She smiled and lay down on the pillow. He put his arm around her, hugging her.
– Agreed – Lea said.
Samuel smiled broadly.
– Get dressed, we're going to dinner with the crew – Samuel said, looking at his watch.
Lea reluctantly, but got out of bed. She put on a long black dress with buttons.
– If I didn't know you, I would think I met the queen – Samuel smiled, seeing Lea combing her hair in front of the mirror – only the crown is missing.
– Don't trick me – she threw, shaking her head disapprovingly.
– I won't conjure a crown for you, if that's what you're worried about.
– No? What a shame, it would go perfectly with this dress.
– Next time I'll get a crown.
Lea didn't know if he was joking, but she preferred not to continue this conversation, it was enough that she would now have to smile and talk to many people for a few hours. Samuel put on suit pants and a white shirt, he knew he had to look better than usual when he joined the royal family. Luckily, Marika was on top of everything and informed him well in advance about both the dress code and the protocol. He didn't want to make any stupid mistakes. The fact that Lea had finally come around to him was a miracle, and he swore that he would do everything in his power to show her that she had made the right decision.
– This outfit definitely suits you – Lea watched him as he buttoned his cuffs.
– It suits you – Samuel smiled as she stood in front of him – although you look good in everything.
– I can run away whether I'm wearing a dress or a tracksuit.
– Don't make me mad – Samuel shook his head disapprovingly and took her hand – I know you're having fun at my expense, but I beg you – he smiled when he saw Lea laughing – calm down, because by the time we get off this ship I'll be gray from nerves and stress.
