*Written two years after chapter 37*

It's been years since I've written anything in this journal. The last time I written here was when we were back at the shelter. There, I ended up having a vision that Shimizu was still alive in the middle of writing.

Oh boy, I don't even know where to start. So much has happened since then.

After Shimizu's speech a couple years ago, more laws were passed protecting Experi-babies. Resources were given out to disadvantaged Experi-babies, especially Experi-babies of color. More and more people were voicing their support for us after their voice was silenced for so long out of being afraid of ridicule.

My son Christopher is in preschool now and is already intellectually ahead. His mother, my wife Isabella, is still the most beautiful, strong-willed and feisty woman I've ever laid eyes on.

Hikari and her friends Yasmine and Devon are getting ready for their junior year of high school, while Tyler is getting ready to leave for college.

Shimizu, Celosia, Beval and Gaia are all 25 now, but are still the same knuckleheads I've always known.

Katie, now 22, is now a registered nurse, working at a nearby hospital. She loves what she does and wouldn't trade it for a thing. Her older sister Kamryn would've been proud of her.

Celosia and Shimizu are still going strong in their relationship. It won't be long before Shimizu gets down on one knee. He even showed me the ring he had hidden from her.

Shimizu's in college Political Science with plans to go to Law School. His dream is to become an attorney, fighting against discrimination. He still does speeches to this day, advocating for the rights of others, including people like us.

Celosia works as a fashion designer for an established company and has already created a successful clothing line called "Blaze".

Beval and Gaia are expecting twins, faternal twins, boy and girl. Their names are Diego and Dakota Hernandez.

Mr. And Mrs. Hernandez passed down their ownership of "El Sabroso: Authentic Mexican Cuisine" to Beval. He is finishing up his bachelors in finance, while also being a business owner.

Gaia is about to finish her degree in Performing Arts and just opened her dance studio: "Gifted Goddesses Dance Studio". Parents are swarming to have their daughters join.

I am currently working to become a college professor in metaphysics and quantum physics. Right now, I'm just working as an assistant professor, but I'll get to that level soon.

The world is getting better by the day, and it's because of our government being refreshed and having deserving people taking those positions of power. The housing prices are affordable, rent isn't a crazy amount anymore here in California, or even in notoriously expensive states like New York, Florida, etc.

College became free of cost and the new President is on our side. The job market has never been this plentiful and the unemployment rate went down drastically.

Yes, we still have some Experi-baby haters. It may take a generation or two for full support and acceptance, but that's okay. We will fix the world one generation at a time.

Currently, I'm writing this in the men's restroom. Me and the kids (I still call them that even though they're adults now) are out enjoying a night at "Dave and Busters". Shimizu kicked my ass in our last game, ha! But I'll get him in this next one!

I'm glad I met these knuckleheads and watched them grow.

Gotta go. Till next time.
