The war of monstrosity of Ghost King with a Crown Prince against the oldest of them all has ended. All has been well, no matter how much of a disaster the highest realm was after it. The mortal realm hasn't been so much as touched, being generously considered by the victorious winner. Ghost realm? Uncertain, not many has bothered to check that place but as demons and ghosts still strive to be a headache – best to assume that city still thrives.

Heavenly Officials still continues to be pathetic, him included. He couldn't say he's as useless as them; one who does not even remember a single, accurate number to help themselves without having to lean on to a reliable traitor. But they all swim within the same puddle at the end of it. The Gods still whine and sob, carrying the oh so heavy burden of having to wait in line for Ling Wen to finally pull out burnt and indecipherable scrolls of their accounts and numbers and try to put two and two together the best they can.

It was clear who was at an advantage here, already thinking of plans how to rebuild a realm now shameful of their weakness – but still a realm mortals rely on to for safety and protection and thus, is unfortunately needed. Even more clear who needs not to be helped by Ling Wen to remember numbers and numbers, having remembered that he had stashed a couple of copies of it right before everything was sent loose and honking.

And it was clear who of the main Gods were to be approached if needed for the recreation of the Heavens.

Ming Guang is nowhere to be found, having assumed that he is indeed in the mortal realm but not sure where exactly. Qi Ying is at mourning, trying to figure out a way to bring back the dead and is inconsolable. Flower Crown Prince is at equal mourning, but sound enough to help. Though, most avoids him in embarrassment and the lack of face. Especially those who dared mock him first now the one to be saved. Tai Hua is seeking revenge to a former Xian Le prince (albeit, honestly, wasn't his ashes already spread?). Nan Yang?

Well, after having to wait in line for Ling Wen, his absence has already been spread as knowledge as well. No one is aware of where he could be and the best they could theorize is that he went on to search for his previous lover and ghostly son or that he had given up and now tucked his tail and scurried off. He's crossed out of the list of the strongest to be able to help and hell knows when he'll come back.

Naturally, the burden falls on Xuan Zhen. The ever so reliable yet so difficult to work with Martial God of the Southwest that needs not to wait in line nor to go in mourning or seek something he needs to be away for. He already troubled Xie Lian enough, whenever that man tries to help he'd push him off and tell him to rest. It is within good intentions that Xie Lian insists, and after realizing in a deeper sense the lost Flower God was just trying to look for a distraction as he grieves and waits for his infuriating Ghost King, Mu Qing had no choice but to accept his help begrudingly.

Ling Wen still tries to lend an ear for his demands even on top of the crowd of even more pathetic Gods. Xie Lian had took pity on her, though. Ripping her away from the greedy and lazy hands of the Heavenly Officials who would die the second they are to be without her and letting her take rest even if that was supposed to be her punishment for her traitorous act. Mu Qing supposes he understood where she would come from. Jun Wu had taken her anger of the mistreatment as her weakness, and was managed to be tied to that monster because of it.
