The vibe at the sushi bar was supposed to be lighthearted, but the air around the table was heavy. Orm, slouched over with a half-empty glass of sake, was drowning her sorrows. Her friends sat around her, exchanging worried glances, while Orm continued her rant about Dr. Kwong and the mysterious woman who appeared out of nowhere.

Fay finally broke the silence, looking utterly confused. "Okay, hold on. You're telling me Dr. Kwong is married? No one at the hospital has ever mentioned that. Not once."

Orm let out a bitter laugh, lifting her glass again. "Oh, trust me, you didn't see that girl, Fay. She was drop-dead gorgeous. And she freaking took her last name Kwong! They even have a daughter." She downed her drink and slammed the glass back down, her frustration evident. "I mean, how am I supposed to compete with that? It's game over."

Fay frowned, shaking her head. "That doesn't make sense, though. I work at the hospital, and half the nurses and staff are practically throwing themselves at Dr. Kwong. They wouldn't do that if she were married. Something isn't adding up."

Orm shot her a glare, her frustration bubbling over. "She literally said it herself, Fay! They have a daughter! "

Before Fay could respond, May reached over, placing her hand over her girlfriend mouth trying to calm the situation. "Okay, okay, let's not get heated here. Maybe there's some kind of misunderstanding. Let's just forget about it for now."

But Milk wasn't having it. She stabbed her chopsticks into her sushi roll and frowned. "Forget about it? How? If she's married, why didn't she just say so from the start? Why would she send you flowers and eat the lunch you made? That screams 'mixed signals.' She's playing dirty."

Orm groaned, rubbing her temples. "That's what I've been trying to figure out. Why would she do all that if she already has a wife? I feel like an idiot."

Prig, who had been quiet the whole time, finally chimed in. "Maybe she's just... complicated? People can be weird when it comes to relationships. But if she really is married, you deserve better, Orm."

Milk nodded, jumping back in. "Exactly! Cheaters don't deserve anyone's time. She should've been upfront with you. I swear, if I see her, I'm going to give her a piece of my mind."

May raised an eyebrow at that. "Let's all calm down. We don't know the whole story yet. But yeah, if she's married, that's seriously messed up."

Orm leaned back in her chair, looking utterly defeated. "You guys don't get it... You didn't see her. That woman was stunning. I can't even blame her for being with her."

May reached out to gently touch Orm's arm. "Sweetheart, beauty doesn't justify lies or cheating. If this is what it looks like, you're better off without her."

Orm sighed, staring at her empty glass. "Maybe. But it still hurts, you know? I really thought-"Before she could finish, Milk interrupted, waving down the waiter. "Another round of sake for the table, please! We need to drown this drama in alcohol."

Fay, still trying to piece everything together, looked at Orm with a raised eyebrow. "Wait... one last question. Did she even introduce herself? What's her name?"
