Chapter 3

In the warm and inviting living room of the penthouse, Orm sat cross-legged on the floor, her attention divided between building a Lego castle with her young niece, Elissa, and listening to the light-hearted banter among the adults. Faye lounged on the sofa with a cup of tea, while Yoko was in a cozy armchair, flipping through a magazine. The atmosphere was relaxed, filled with the sounds of casual conversation and Elissa's cheerful giggles.

Elissa looked up from her Lego creations, her eyes bright. "Aunt Orm, I made a new friend at school today! Her name is Mia. She likes the same cartoons as me!"

Orm smiled, genuinely interested. "That's great, Elissa! What cartoons do you both like?"

Elissa's face lit up with excitement. "We both love 'Rainbow Rangers'! Mommy said it's going to be my birthday theme"

Yoko chuckled from her chair. " But princess didn't you tell me you wanted it Bluey yesterday" Faye said frowning her eyebrows, because she instructed the party planner for all Bluey characters.

Elissa eyes light up at the mention o her also favorite cartoon, " I want both!"

Faye shook her head, " No Princess you have to decide on only one" she said earning a puppy pout from her daughter

" But I want both, I don't like to choose" Elissa said frowning tears already gathered in her eyes, making Faye feel bad.

Orm glanced at Yoko who was eying her wife as Faye gulped in fear, " I mean we can have both right, why not?"

Yoko pinched Faye's thigh leaning closer whispering, " Why you said it NO like that?!"

Faye got confused kept rubbing her thigh quickly replied " How do you say no then?"

As Orm tried her best not to laugh at her sister, she switched her attention building the lego in her hands.

Finally after Faye defended herself she turned her attention to Orm. "So, Orm, how's university going? Are you keeping up with everything?"

Orm shrugged lightly. "It's been busy, but I'm managing. My friends are such a good help thought overall, we're all getting through it."

Yoko raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk forming on her lips. "Speaking of getting through things, has anyone caught your eye lately, Orm? Maybe someone special?"

Orm's cheeks flushed slightly, and she thought, *If only you knew.* She shook her head, trying to play it cool. "Not really, Yoko. Just focusing on my studies and hanging out with friends."

Faye, overhearing the conversation, rolled her eyes. "Exactly, this isn't the time to be thinking about dating. You should be concentrating on your studies and your future."

Yoko ignored Faye's comment with a playful grin. "Oh, come on, Faye. She's an adult. She can make her own choices. Besides, it's not like she's looking for trouble."

Orm stuck out her tongue at Faye, who shot her a disapproving look, then blew a kiss to Yoko. "Thanks, Yoko. I appreciate the support."
