Orm rushed to Milk's house, her mind still racing with the bizarre encounter with Freen. Her body is shaken up. Why is she just so weird? The moment she stepped inside, she felt a weird tension in the air, her friends huddled around, already in a deep, hushed conversation.
"Guys you wouldn't believe.. The creepiest thing just happened," Orm started, ready to spill everything she'd just gone through. But she froze as she noticed her friends' nervous glances, their conversation halting awkwardly the moment she walked in.
"What's going on?" Orm asked, her eyes narrowing as she scanned the group. Something was off.
May exchanged an uncomfortable glance with Prig before sighing. "Orm, you might want to take a seat for this."
The unease that settled over Orm's stomach tightened. "Take a seat? For what?"
Prig muttered, "I don't think it's a good idea to say anything."
Milk, who had been unusually quiet, simply nodded in agreement.
Fay argued back, " But we have too! my insides are killing me I won't keep it to myself"
"What is it?" Orm asked, her voice sharpening, the tension in the room palpable.
Her friends started bickering amongst themselves, as if Orm wasn't right there, listening. They were debating whether to tell her, clearly hiding something important.
"Girls!" Orm clapped her hands together loudly, silencing their murmurs. "I'm right here. Just tell me what's going on."
May looked around, reluctant but knowing she couldn't keep it from her any longer. She opened her mouth, " Look Orm, I think-" then hesitated, her courage failing her at the last second.
Fay, already anxious and biting her nails, blurted out in a rush, "We saw Faye cheating on Yoko."
Orm's eyes widened in disbelief. "W-What?"
May winced but nodded. "We were having dinner at this restaurant last night, and we saw Faye... kissing this ginger-haired woman."
Orm blinked, trying to process the absurdity of it. "Faye would never cheat on Yoko. You're mistaken. She barely has time for anything between work and family, let alone sneaking around to cheat."
"I thought the same thing!" May exclaimed. "We didn't believe it at first either. But then that woman went to the restroom, and Faye spotted us. She looked nervous, Orm. Really nervous."
Orm stood abruptly, shaking her head. "I have to talk to her. This doesn't make any sense, and this night keeps getting just weirder"
Prig stood up too, placing a hand on Orm's arm, trying to calm her. "Orm, just take a second and think this through. Don't go storming in there without knowing all the facts."
But Orm was already making her way to the door. "No, If Faye really did something awful like that, then she needs to face me."
-------
The moment Orm arrived at her family home, she barely greeted the maid before asking, "Where's Faye?"
"Miss Faye is in her office," the maid replied.
Without hesitation, Orm stormed toward Faye's office, her anger and confusion bubbling over. She threw the door open, not even bothering to knock.
