Orm rose from her bed, her mind whirling with the weight of the truth she had been hiding for so long. It should be simple, right? Just go to Ling and say, "Hey baby, I'm sorry I lied about my name for absolutely no reason. My real name is Orm Malisorn, and I'm not from the south."

But the words felt heavy, and it definitely wasn't that easy. Still, it wasn't the worst lie, she reasoned. It was just a name, right? A white lie. But the weight of her real identity—it could change everything.

With determination, Orm decided to skip her classes. She couldn't wait any longer. Taking the risk, she put on a hoodie, sunglasses, and a mask, hoping no one would recognize her, especially not that pesky Yinganda. Sneaking through the streets of the south side, she made her way to the hospital where Ling worked, her heart pounding in her chest.

She had texted Ling earlier, telling her they needed to talk about something important. Now, Orm sat in the waiting area, nervously bouncing her legs, her mind racing through every possible outcome. What if Ling hated her after this? What if she couldn't forgive her?

Just then, the door opened, and Ling appeared, her expression a mixture of worry and fear. "Please tell me you're not breaking up with me," Ling blurted out, her voice laced with anxiety.

Orm blinked in surprise. "What? No!" She quickly stood up, grabbing Ling's hands, rubbing them gently to calm her down. "Of course not. I'm not breaking up with you, babe."

Ling sighed in relief, letting out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding. "Thank God. I've been freaking out all day. Freen put this stupid idea in my head, telling me that when girls say they want to talk, it's always about a breakup."

Orm chuckled softly and shook her head. "I'm not ," she teased before stepping closer, wrapping her arms around Ling and kissing her softly. Ling melted into the embrace, pulling Orm even closer.

Hopefully it's not the last kiss..Orm thought to herself

After a moment, they both sat down, Ling still holding Orm's hands, waiting patiently for her to speak. But Orm hesitated. The words she had rehearsed over and over in her head suddenly seemed impossible to say. She could feel her heart racing as she tried to muster the courage.

Ling, sensing her girlfriend's nervousness, gently squeezed her hand. "It's okay love. Whatever it is, I'm here. You can tell me."

Orm took a deep breath, her grip tightening on Ling's hands. "Promise you won't get mad at me?" she asked softly, her eyes searching Ling's face for reassurance. "And promise you'll listen until the end?"

Ling raised an eyebrow, confused, but nodded. "I promise."
