The Malisorn the most powerful family in Asia, consist of three sister, or you could say two sisters and one sister?

Nine years ago, Freen Malisorn made a decision that would change the dynamic of her family forever. She had always been ambitious, but after spending five years abroad studying business, Freen became more ruthless in her pursuit of success. She began to dabble in illegal activities—money laundering and under-the-table deals—to expand her business empire quickly. To her, it was just another way to stay ahead in the cutthroat world of investments.

When Faye, her older sister and head of the Malisorn family's investment council, discovered Freen's actions, she was livid. Faye had always played by the rules, building their family business with integrity. To see Freen—her own sister—risk everything their father had built drove a wedge between them. Faye confronted Freen, demanding that she stop, but Freen was too far into her schemes to back out.

Faye's anger quickly turned into a final ultimatum: if Freen didn't leave the illegal business behind, she would no longer be part of the family. But Freen, with her own pride and ego, refused to be lectured. That night, she packed her things and left the house, heading to the south side of the city, where her new business ventures thrived away from Faye's control.

" You're a disgrace to this family! Don't you ever dare to comeback here!" Faye shouted whipping the blood from her busted lip, as both sisters were fighting.

Freen scoffed ignoring her limping to her car, not caring to glance back.

Since then, the sisters have had no contact, both too stubborn and proud to reconcile. Freen had tried reaching out once or twice, but Faye always threatened her. Orm, who was only 12 when Freen left, barely remembers her older sister, as Freen had already been away studying abroad for five years before the fallout so never really had a relationship with her. Their estrangement remains, with both thriving on opposite sides of the city, but the distance between them still deepens.

Now the main city where is Faye Malisorn owns 80% of the properties and is part of the executive national council, and other dangerous prohibited area the 'south side' where Freen is part of the gang or Mafia you would call it.

Orm Malisorn woke up to the familiar sound of her niece, Elissa, giggling in the hallway. The soft morning light poured through the curtains as she stretched, smiling at the thought of another peaceful day in the Malirrason household. She threw on her favorite hoodie and made her way downstairs.

As she entered the kitchen, she saw Yoko, her sister-in-law, flipping pancakes while Faye, her eldest sister, sat at the table with a cup of coffee, scrolling through emails.

"Morning, Orm!" Yoko greeted her with her usual bright smile. "You're just in time for breakfast. I made your favorite—chocolate chip pancakes."

"Yes!" Orm cheered, rubbing her hands together as she sat down at the table next to Elissa, who was busy stacking her pancakes into a wobbly tower. "What are you building there, little one?"

Elissa grinned up at her, her brown eyes sparkling. "A pancake castle, Aunt Orm! Wanna help?"

Orm chuckled, ruffling her niece's hair. "Of course. This might be the greatest pancake castle ever built."

Faye watched them with a small, content smile. It was rare for her to relax like this. Running the biggest investment council in Asia left little time for quiet family mornings. But moments like this made all the hard work worth it.

"You better eat up fast, Orm," Faye said, glancing at the time on her phone. "Don't you have class soon?"

Orm groaned playfully but grabbed a fork. "Yeah, yeah, I'm going! Uni's not going anywhere, but I swear I'll be late if I don't leave soon."

"Well, we don't want that," Yoko teased, placing another plate in front of her. "Besides, Pri and Milk waiting for you outside."

Orm nodded, gulping down her juice. "I'll catch you guys later! And Elissa, don't let the pancake castle fall while I'm gone."

Elissa saluted dramatically, making everyone laugh as Orm grabbed her backpack and rushed out the door.

On the other side of the city, Lingling Kwong's alarm buzzed precisely at 5:30 AM. She opened her eyes with military precision, not a minute late. Stretching out her sore muscles from the late shift at the hospital the night before, she rolled out of bed and immediately began her routine. She didn't like wasting time.

By 6:00 AM, she was out the door, her gym bag slung over her shoulder. The cool morning air greeted her as she stepped out of her apartment. Just as she locked the door behind her, she heard a familiar voice.

"Morning idiot"

Freen Malisorn, her neighbor and 10 years best friend, stood outside her door. Dressed in her usual all-black attire, Ling gave her a lazy wave. Ling wasn't one for small talk.

"Morning stupid," Lingling replied, checking her watch. "You ready for another day?"

"Always." Freen smirked. "You heading to the hospital now?"

"Yeah. I've got back-to-back surgeries today. Your hospital keeps me busy, as always," Lingling said with a hint of a smile. Freen's hospital, FB Hospital, was one of the top medical facilities in the region, and Lingling was proud to be part of it—though she'd never admit it aloud.

Freen chuckled as they walked toward their cars parked side by side. "I'm glad you're keeping my hospital in top shape. Don't overwork yourself, though."

Lingling raised an eyebrow at her friend. "You know me. Work is all I need."

"Yeah, that's what I'm worried about," Freen teased, though her tone held genuine concern. "One of these days, you'll have to let loose a bit."

Lingling rolled her eyes but couldn't help the smile tugging at her lips. "I'll leave the 'letting loose' to you. I've got lives to save."

"Fair enough. I'm heading to the office now, but dinner at my place later? Becky is cooking some fish&chips, also she misses you It's been a while."

"Maybe," Lingling replied, already mentally preparing for the long day ahead. "If I'm not stuck in the OR, I'll let you know."

Freen nodded. "Alright, I'll hold you to it. Stay sharp, Doctor."

Lingling gave a quick nod and got into her car, her mind already shifting to work mode. As the engine purred to life, she stole a glance at Freen, who was still leaning against her car, watching the street.

Despite Freen's tough exterior and questionable business decisions, Lingling knew her well enough to see the loyalty and care behind the mask. Freen was always the one to put her family first the love she has for her wife and daughter is really to be mesmerized about.
