Barakiel is a fallen angel and the current vice governor of the Grigori, an organization of fallen angels. He is the father of Akeno Himejima.

Notable Attacks and Techniques:
•Holy Lightning: Barakiel's signature move. He can manipulate lighting in the form to form rays and bolts of lightning capable of paralyzing foes and generating enormous explosions upon impact or incorporate it into his physical attacks, and can infuse the power of light into them to inflict increased damage on demonic beings. He can also control thunder clouds at a whim to direct bolts of lightning at intended targets. Additionally, he can wrap himself in lightning and shape lightning into the form of a weapon such as a spear.
•Light Manipulation: As a fallen angel, Baraqiel has the ability to manipulate light and create light based attacks.
