The Skullcrawlers are the main antagonists in the 2017 adventure film Kong: Skull Island. They are monsters who live in the island and they are led by Ramarak (Better known, officially, as Skull Devil), alpha of its kind. Insatiable carnivores monsters that dwell deep beneath the surface of Skull Island, the Skullcrawlers were responsible for wiping out the majority of Kong's species long ago, and frequently menaced the other creatures living on the island as well. The orphaned Kong took it upon himself to keep the Skullcrawlers population in check and defend the island's other residents from their savagery. In 1973, the Monarch expedition to Skull Island unwittingly drew numerous Skullcrawlers to the surface. Though Kong was able to handle most of them, he was eventually faced with a colossal 95 foot Skullcrawler known as the Skull Devil. Kong engaged in a brutal struggle with the Skull Devil, and with the aid of his newfound human allies was finally able to triumph over the horrific creature.

Tier: 8-C

Classification: Prehistoric subterranean hypervorous amphibians

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman physical characteristics, longevity, immorality (Type 3; They can regenerate lethal wounds), large size (Type 0; They're 3.65 meters tall), camouflage, enhanced senses (Much like snakes, the Skullcrawlers olfactory system allows them to sense hot-blooded lifeforms from miles away), natural weaponry (Claws, teeth and a serpent like tail), body control (They have prehensile tail and tongue. Skullcrawlers have prehensile tongues that they use to grab and quickly devour small prey, or gripping large prey in combat), underwater breathing (Type 2; Kong: Skull Island - The official Movie Novelization reveals that Skullcrawlers have hidden gills on their neck, allowing them to breathe on land and underwater indefinitely), voice mimicry (The Novelization of Skull Island states that Skullcrawlers can mimic human voices to lure their prey), regeneration (At least Low-Mid; Skull Devil regenerated her throat, after being sliced wide open by Kong with a ship's propeller), underground mobility (Being subterranean, Skullcrawlers are capable of using their limbs to burrow deep into the Earth), resistance to fire manipulation, magma manipulation, and heat manipulation (One of them stood in burning lava)

Attack Potency: Building level+ (One killed a Sker Buffalo on its own, 2 of them can fight Kong for a short time)

Speed: Superhuman (Skullcrawlers can run very quickly despite having only two legs, and their speed surpasses that of an athletic adult human, they catch up with Sker Buffalos)

Lifting Strength: At least Class 50 (The young ones weigh 40 tons)

Striking Strength: Building level+

Durability: Building level+

Their arms were unable to straighten out, having only two limbs to walk on, their stance was rather unstable and could easily be toppled, they had vulnerable eyes, and they could be killed by ripping their tongue since it is connected to their internal organs.
