Thor is a character in Record of Ragnarok, or Shuumastsu no Valkrie, who acts as the first representative of the Gods in the first round of Ragnarok. In this bout, Thor battles humanity's champion Lu Bu. Thor is the Nordic God of Thunder, and regarded as the pantheon's strongest warrior, accomplishing thousands of victories throughout his life with just a single strike of his Mjolnir. Thor is battle-hungry, and is constantly seeking worthy challenges and opponents that would not be put down after a single one of his blows, but he had yet to find someone capable of doing as such, leaving him in a cold, depressed and unapproachable mood. He only finds joy in battle. He is based on Thor from Nordic Mythology.

Tier: At least 7-A, higher with Awakened Mjolnir

Classification: God of Thunder, Strongest Warrior God of Norse Mythology, Representative of the Gods in Ragnarok

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman physical characteristics, immorality (Type 1), weapon mastery (With Mjolnir), electricity manipulation (As the God of Thunder, Thor is able to produce and generating lightning within his attacks), limited invulnerability (Gods are unable to be harmed by mortal weapons), air manipulation (Is able to generate powerful blows of wind with a swing of Mjolnir), heat manipulation via Mjolnir (When awakened, Mjolnir is able to produce heat, even melting the floor into a molten liquid, is said to be as hot as lava), teleportation (Confirmed in the Databook and portrayed in the anime, Thor is capable of teleporting himself and other objects an unknown distance in a sphere of lightning), homing attack (Able to throw Mjolnir expertly so that it also comes back to him), fear manipulation (Able to strike fear into Goll and Brunhilde with his aura alone), resistance to heat manipulation (Was able to hold onto awakened Mjolnir with no protection, whose heat was compared to lava and could melt orichalcum)

Attack Potency: At least Mountain level (Both the Gods and Brunhilde believe that it would be impossible for a human to defeat a God, which include alive Lu Bu), higher with Awakened Mjolnir (Regarded as the Nordic's strongest warrior, who had previously always slain his enemies in a single strike. Must wear the Jarngreipr to protect Mjolnir from his true power before it awakens, which is able to tear apart the land and seas, as well as able to shatter the Earth. However, it remains unclear how much of this claim is true. Capable of defeating Jormungandr the World Serpent in a single strike)

Speed: At least Relativistic

Lifting Strength: Class K (Comparable to Lu Bu, being able to clash weapons with him)

Striking Strength: At least Mountain level

Durability: At least Mountain level (Able to withstand the power of Awakened Mjolnir, which could withstand and overpower Lu Bu's Sky Eater technique)

Stamina: Superhuman (Fought against Lu Bu throughout Round 1 without showing any visible strain)

Range: Standard Melee Range, Several Meters with Mjolnir and electricity manipulation

Standard Equipment:

•Mjolnir: Mjolnir is Thor's Divine Weapon, regarded as the 'Strongest of the Divine' early in the series. It is a large hammer made of a shell of orichalcum, larger than Thor"s body itself, which is said to be capable of shattering the Earth and tearing apart the sea and lands. Despite this, Mjolnir is actually a living being that remains dormant, preventing it from being able to bear Thor's full power, unless it can sense a powerful opponent, such that it did when clashing against Lu Bu. When awakened, Mjolnir bursts with pulsating  flesh and veins from within, generating heat compared to lava that could melt the orichalcum surrounding it and allows Thor to use his unrestricted power.

•Jarngreipr: The Jarngreipr are two heavy glove-like gauntlets worn by Thor, stated to be able to withstand any attack as Thor regularly uses them to guard from the rare attack that may reach him. These gauntlets were widely misunderstood to protect Thor from the power of Mjolnir, however, they instead are used to restrain Thor's power from damaging Mjolnir before it awakened instead. A single glove was able to create a large crater when taken off from its sheer weight. This weapon was specifically broken through the Valkyrie Randgriz's special trait of 'Shield-Breaker' imbued in Lu Bu's Volundr, suggesting that an ability bypassing durability was required in order to break through it.

Intelligence: Unknown, likely high battle-wise

Weakness: Mjolnir remains dormant unless it can sense an opponent strong enough to awaken it, seemingly unable to be awoken by Thor manually. A few of his techniques require a build of centrifugal force by being thrown, leaving him open without Mjolnir for a moment, though it is usually calculated.

Notable Attacks and Techniques:

•Thor's Hammer: Thor's signature move and instant kill technique. Thor arches his back downwards, making it seem as if he is falling and stays in that position, frozen, until he unleashes a swift blow with great force. He used this to kill 66 Jotunns all at once before they could react, who were previously overwhelming the force of Asgard, and once again on Lu Bu during round 1 of Ragnarok.

•Geirrod: The "Ultimate Killing Blow", Thor flings Mjolnir into the air with all of his might and retrieves it with great velocity and centrifugal force. Once his hammer is retrieved, Thor finally slams it down upon his opponent, with an apparent 100% accuracy. It was first used to slay Jormungandr the World Serpent, which is likely to be large enough to wrap itself around Earth, as usually portrayed. This move was capable of breaking both of Lu Bu's legs when blocked head on.

•Geirrod Thor's Hammer: Thor combines his two most powerful techniques, Thor's Hammer and Geirrod, to form this ultimate attack. He used this technique to overwhelm and outpower Lu Bu's Sky Eater, Humanity's trump card in this fight, and its clash created a devastating pillar of energy reaching the skies.
