The Charger is one of the special infected that first appeared during the events of Left 4 Dead 2. A hulking monster with both a freakishly enlarged arm and a uselessly withered counterpart, it uses its increased bulk to charge straight through gunfire and crash into any survivor foolish enough to not step out of the way, pulverizing their victims if they aren't rescued in time.

It will continue to do so until the either the victim is dead or until the charger is killed by an outside party, shrugging off all attempts to push it off its victim and even remaining unresponsive to gunfire until it is killed.
