autumn
"Hello again."
"You two have already met?" Michael asked, looking at Luke and then at Autumn, clearly confused.
"Uh yeah we met today," Autumn replied, quite impressed by the coincidence. She did not expect to meet him again.
"Is your shirt okay now?" Luke chuckled, tugging at his lip ring with his teeth.
Rolling her eyes, Autumn turned away from him and made her way over to the torn leather couch.
It's not like she was secretly hoping she would meet Luke again but she was kind of glad she did.
A few seconds later, Michael came over and joined her and Luke had walked off and gone through a random door.
It was fairly weird for her to be hanging out with Michael because the only person she had really had a friendship was in the past two years was Eva.
Eva's friends, whom she was also friends with would normally be with her but she was not as close to them as Eva was.
"Who's this?" A voice said.
Autumn's gaze met the gaze of a dark haired boy.
"Calum meet Autumn, Autumn meet Calum," Michael introduced the two, gesturing between them.
Calum sent Autumn 'it's nice to meet you' smile before walking through the same door Luke had just gone through.
As per usual, Autumn was toying with her bracelet and her gaze explored the garage.
"I only just remembered that my friend has a bracelet exactly like that," Michael apprised her, tilting his head slightly and looking down at her wrist.
Autumn pressed her lips together and stopped touching her bracelet.
"That's weird because someone made this for me, you know like a friendship bracelet."
However, the person who gave it to her she was no longer friends with but she continued to wear it.
Luke and Calum returned, both carrying bottles of beer and engrossed in conversation.
Michael observed her bracelet for a few seconds. "Imagine if Ashton and you were friends," He laughed to himself.
"Wait, your friend's name is Ashton?"
Before he could respond, another person entered the garage.
Autumn recognized him instantaneously.
"You have to be fucking kidding me! You already know Ashton, don't you?" Michael exclaimed, his eyes widening.
This grabbed the attention of the three boys and it wasn't soon before Ashton's gaze locked with Autumn's.
She could see the shock slowly appear on his face.
At first, she couldn't believe it was him stood about ten meters in front of her because it seemed like a completely inconceivable fortuity.
But he was and even though she knew that they had ended things on bad terms, every part of her wanted to run over to him and hug him.
Her impulsiveness kicked in and quickly she stood up and ran over to him.
She flung her arms around him, hugging him tightly.
Ashton immediately hugged her back, which was a relief, and rested his head on her shoulder.
For that moment, she tried to forget about all the things that had happened with her and Ashton and appreciate the fact that he was here.
"Uh hello, we're still here you know," Calum groaned.
Autumn is pulled back from her thoughts and releases Ashton from the embrace.
