Turns out it was permanent.

Sky lost her water powers.

To be honest, she didn't miss them that much.

Next days were blissfully non catastrophic, allowing everyone to relax after the unfortunate vacation that ended with a funeral. In this one short week Sky managed to get somehow promoted to Police Commissioner, Uncle Nix opened another Dairy Dragon and Liv and Jay started dating.

This time was definitely not uneventful. And on top of all that, someone started smuggling vengestone from Shintaro and breaking prisoners out of kryptarium.

So let's just say that when Sky got kidnapped, she expected for a council of villains she was brought to, to have an army of vengestone warriors.

What they didn't, however, expect was to be met with their own face, when presented to the bad guys by the Mechanic. Oh, so that's where Rain has been.

"Hmmm... You did good capturing Waterlily. You're in." Chen rose from his chair at the circular table, dimly lit by purple light. On his left were sitting Nick and Kalmaar and on his right was Pythor and a fifth chair that the Mechanic was just taking.

"Welcome" Rain paused for dramatic effect. "to the Council of Evil Organizations." She was hovering over Sky, with a grin on her face.

"The CEO has as its members powerful people. I'm sure you know some of them, huh?" Rain continued, leading Sky down a corridor by the vengestone cuffs they've been bound with.

"And this will be your cage. Cozy, isn't it?" Rain quipped and showed Sky the cage, before shoving her into it. Sky didn't respond in any way other than snarling.

"It won't do you any good. We're launching an attack at the monastery in two days by the way." Rain turned back to some kind of a computer. Sky swapped snarl out for a death glare. "Why are you telling me?"

"Because you're not getting out of here either way." Rain laughed. "And I know you. You won't even try escaping. That's your only good trait." She turned to face Sky and stepped closer so that she was only centimeters away from the other. "You're a quick learner." Her voice sounded like Nadakhan for a second.

How did she even know about that?!

"Ohhh... Your face is priceless. It's almost better than applause." Rain smiled, knowing damn well that Sky was going to finish the quote herself. She must've enjoyed it. Poking fun at Sky.

But she was right. They can't escape. And even if there is a way, they won't risk it. Both of them knew it. Sky was just too...

Obedient.

-

No one came for her. Well, it wasn't surprising considering she didn't even know where she was, much less others.

"Wake up sleepyhead!" Rain rudely interrupted their thoughts. "The villains want you on the battlefield."

What? Why would they need her?

Their confusion must've shown up on their face, because Rain answered. "I don't know why." Probably to flash it in front of their family that they have captured them.

"And why don't you know? Aren't you their servant or something?" Sky tried to poke fun at Rain.

"My god, knock it off. I already told you. I'm your clone. It's all you darlin'." Rain sighed and returned the favour. "Now get your head in the bag. No, we don't care if you see where our base is. It's only to humiliate you a bit more."

-

Sky heard various sounds on the way. She was being transported on the back of some kind of a van and then led inside some kind of building.
