Approximately 10 hours of even more questions and various experiments later Sky collapsed on the couch.

"By the way. I can stay here, right? Sleep on your couch?" She mumbled into the soft cushion.

"I am not finished with my work, so you don't really have a choice." Donatello's voice almost made her jump. Guess they followed her to the living room.

"Okay, thanks..." Sky murmured into the pillow, her mind already drifting off.

-

They woke up the next morning under a blanket. Huh.

"Okay, I know it's not the best moment..." Sky heard April's voice from somewhere else in the lair, but she didn't bother checking from where, instead directing her steps towards the kitchen.

They pulled out a box of cereal from the cupboard and milk from the fridge.

She didn't have the mental capacity to think about why anyone would even enjoy cold milk in their cereal, so she just stared at the wall and continued munching on her breakfast.

When finished with their cold cereal, they washed the spoon and bowl and put everything back in its place.

Now it was the time to finally check where the rest was.

"But a game?!" Donnie's shout sounded across the hallways.

"Well, yeah."

-

So now they were all stuck on a city-wide photo scavenger hunt. Yay.

The whole group + Draxum was just on their way to the first destination, when suddenly a giant black orb appeared in the sky and shadowy hands started kidnapping people all around.

-

Something was wrong. Why was she on a yacht??? No one was trying to kill them? Nothing seemed wrong or even weird.

The water in the pool was clearly fake, having no texture and no moisture.

But why was she here? Why doesn't she remember how she got here?

"Something is clearly wrong with this place." She tried to recall anything from her memory, but she couldn't recall anything from today?.

"I keep trying to tell them, but the stupid rat refuses to listen!" Draxum added. "We are trapped in a mystic orb."

Sky acted surprised. "So how do we get out?"

After a quick lesson in mystic barriers and how they have to find the weak spot and also taking a brief look at the turtles either cooking, joking, doing nothing or dying, Draxum, Splinter, April, Cassandra and Sky all jumped into the fake water below and fell to the bottom of the orb.

Now they just had to find a weak spot.

-

After a long 20 minutes of fruitless search, something that was definitely a claw pierced the bottom of the orb, almost cutting April's leg.

"Yes!" Draxum exclaimed and commanded his vines to expand the hole enough for all five of them to get out.

The world outside was... dark. And empty.

Good. Sky never liked crowded places.

Immediately Big Mama commanded her 'new champion' to get the orb back from April who stole it the first moment they were out.

Quickly a big fight broke out. Punches, trucks and the orb were being thrown all around. To be honest it was a bit too much for Sky.

Her brain was long used to fighting in Ninjago, which had a much slower pacing than both Megapolis and this New York. (By the way, she really needs to have a more specific name).

They were doing all they could, clawing and even biting at the opponent, but it had very little effect.

And when the fight moved to the Nexus hotel, everything went to shit. Cassandra found out and revealed that Big Mama's 'new champion' was, in fact, Shredder all along and took control of him.

And that's exactly when the whole gang decided to tactically retreat and form a plan.

For Sky this whole situation was a strange mix of boring and adrenaline high. Huh.

"Now it's a shame that I didn't listen to my grandpa's lessons on how to beat the Shredder." Splinter stated.

"If you were there, that means this knowledge is buried somewhere in your memories." Draxum pointed out.

And now Sky had a choice. Cut all this short and just tell them about the 'weapon' in the twilight realm, or leave everything be and see everyone getting necessarily hurt and emotional.

"A shame that I don't have any materials required for the spell here." Okay, nevermind.

"Maybe we don't need it. I heard that there is a weapon in the twilight realm, and it should be strong enough to help us beat him." Sky tilted her head, waiting silently for Draxum to respond with his designated line.

"Yes, I am familiar with the twilight realm."

-

And so not more than 15 minutes later almost everyone was on the other side of a portal Draxum created. Splinter had the sword in his hands and just shouted to pull him back.

The energy they all had caused the weapon to go flying across the room, when they landed in a pile on the floor.

A few seconds later the sword transformed into a woman in a flash of light.

Yay! Karai's on board now!

After the initial confusion has mainly passed and Karai's monologue on the lore of the show was done Splinter demanded of everyone to leave gram gram alone, because she is exhausted.

Sky, instead of that, quickly changed into a cat and laid down right next to the armchair Karai was sitting in, to watch the show.

And what a show it was! First Donnie with their tech, then Leo with his book, Raph, trying to be impressive and Mikey just giving Karai his drawing. It was a mess and almost made Sky cringe to the moon and back.

Almost. By now she was already used to this sort of thing happening in the lair. The turtles would do something cringy almost every week. And Sky was here to enjoy the show every time.

A few words about the importance of family later and a terrified whisper broke out of Karai's lips. "He has found me".

Just then the Shredder broke down the wall, sending the debris flying in every direction. Panic broke out immediately.

Sky quickly ran out of the living room. She didn't want to seem like a coward, but she had someone to save in the lab.

"Shelldon. I need you to protect gram gram." Leo's words rang in her ears when she entered.

Just when he teleported away, she turned back into a human. Without even as much as a 'Hi' she immediately walked over to Karai and Shelldon and assumed a fighting stance. The two also didn't have any time to ask why she was here, because Shredder quickly broke down yet another wall to get into the lab.

"Run." Was the only thing Sky said before transforming into a dragon.

They knew they didn't stand a chance against the Shredder. They were just stalling to give Karai and, more importantly, Shelldon to get away.

"Well, let's go."
