Chapter 55 - The Other Side

"The purple one" Donnie "and the orange one" Mikey "are trying to hijack the Technodrome, master." They didn't even have to check to know that. Her mind, despite being insufferable, was filled with lots of information on those green pests the ninja turtles. So, despite having to live with an annoying voice at the back of their mind, they were quite satisfied in their situation.

They were almost the right hand of the great Kraang. A pawn, but how privileged!

So that's why when the blue one Leo came, they were allowed to stay and watch the fight! And the extra limbs the Kraang has gifted them to summon were perfect to watch it from above, like a play in a theatre!

He was squirming and trying so hard to fight against the power of the Kraang, even when his siblings were brought up from below and thrown violently on the ground. Fortunately this knocked both of them out for now, so they couldn't help Blue Leo. Only his father calls him Blue. Otherwise it would be a bit too easy for him.

Then Red Raph started choking Blue Leo with the gift the Kraang gave him - an extension to his arm.

And just when it was about to get interesting, Purple Donnie and Orange Mikey got up. Yes! NO! What were they? Mutant Turtles Most humans wouldn't be able to stand up for another few minutes at least! They are mutants. They are stronger and more resilient than humans.

See! That was useful! Thanks brain!

They quickly turned into a smaller version of their dragon form and striked the two meddling pests turtles are technically not pests. They took care of them quickly, actually knocking them out this time.

But they still had to keep watch in case they woke up. Or Blue Leo succeeds at his nigh impossible quest of bringing his brother back. So they returned to their spot in the ceiling.

And just in time!

"I was fighting you, because I didn't understand you." Blue Leo breathed out, clearly losing more and more of his strength with every second we have to help him! and they were all here for it. To see how his squirming slowly ceases and withers away along with life in his eyes. We have to go save him!

A brief moment of some past memories of descriptions and visuals of this silly blue turtle flashed before their eyes. Grief and pain filling them and their soul to the brim. Yeah. That's exactly what's gonna happen. No! We have to move, please!

And when it happens, they can watch the rest of the family mourning and grieving! Raph would blame himself, Donnie would hole up in their lab and Mikey would start almost killing himself trying to cheer the two up.

See? Even the voice likes it! No!

"I always figured you were mad because you didn't like the way I did things" Blue Leo whined out. But something was wrong. They could see how Red's Raph's grip loosened.

"But when I see what's happening to you-" They had to remind both of them who is the boss around here.

And it's a good thing their brain was telling them exactly what to say. "what's happening to them, I realized, this wasn't about me."

"You didn't yell because you were mad, you yelled because you were scared."

"You didn't yell because you were mad, you yelled because you were scared." They mocked him for every word, for his weakness, why wasn't it working?! He cares for his brother more than he cares about mocking.

Well then, they had to step in.

"It's scary to be responsible for the lives you protect." They cooed climbing closer to the blue one Leo.
