Chapter 50 - The Kraang

After everyone finally getting hit in the face with the weight of the situation Leo portaled them to the recent hideout of the foot clan.

And right when the foot lieutenant was about to make a big ritual out of opening the portal to the prison dimension.

"That's it! The key!" Casey shouted, getting the attention of the entire foot clan.

"Go!" Leo opened a portal right underneath CJ's feet to launch him across the room and right to the key. Meanwhile the rest dropped to the ground level and began fighting the foot soldiers.

Sky turned into her dragon form. She has been training for the past month so now she could actually hold her own while in almost every battle. Almost. If the Kraang show up, no one will stand a chance.

And yet.

A shockwave sent Casey and everyone around the pedestal, on which the key was, flying.

"FUCK" Sky swore. In her defence, the situation called for it. Everyone was about to get their butt handed to them, Leo was gonna almost die, then Kraangified Raph, the Kraangified train, Technodrome and Leo's sacrifice.

If anything goes wrong, the world will never be the same.

"I'm finally free!" Kraang #1's voice pierced the air, inducing extreme anxiety in Sky. To hear it through the screen was one thing, but standing face to face with the one whom it belongs to was another.

All of the scenes from the prison dimension suddenly came back to her, drowning her in 'what if's'. She had read countless times how Leo is left in there, how he dies, how everyone dies, how everything can easily go to shit.

A wave of nausea washed over them, but they swallowed it down quickly.

They have to be here and now.

"Let's make sure their visit's short and sweet." Raph said, before lunging at the Kraang.

"Welcome to Earth! Hope you don't enjoy your stay!" He shouted before being quickly stopped by the chewed out bubble gum.

Sky was ready to strike. She already knew the sequence by heart and was just trying to play it out in her mind to find a perfect moment to attack.

Mikey and April attacking, thrown by the fucked up octopus, Donnie attacks, they miss and are thrown away along with Raph, them Leo comes in with his portals. The most vulnerable Kraang #1 will be while throwing Donnie and Raph.

So that's when she striked.

It went bad, as expected, and Sky got thrown away too, just like everyone before her.

And then she heard the Kraang #1's screech. Ear piercing sound that blocked away spiritual powers.

But hers wasn't spiritual. She can save someone.

Her eyes scoured the surroundings. The one closest to her was Donnie.

She quickly coiled up around them, trying her best to block out the sound and its effects. "Hi." She put her head inside the little bunker to check if Tello's powers were still fading. To her relief, they weren't. "This screech blocks out spiritual powers. Ninpo." She supplied the knowledge to Tello.

And god only knows if for their information or her own comfort.

The sound stopped as quickly as it started, making Sky peer out to check if it's safe for Donnie to be let out.

She swiftly unfurled and attacked Kraang #1 once again. This time she got stopped by Kraang #2, the sister quickly grabbing the dragon by her neck and throwing her into a wall.
