Chapter 8

Bea POV

"I heard balak mong bumili ng car soon. Ako na magturo sayo magdrive."

"Nako Bei wag na ayos lang si Kalel na lang pag-uwi ko or mag driving school na lang ako. Alam ko naman marami ka din inaasikaso."

"Ano ka ba don't worry about it. Gagastos ka pa e andito naman ako offering myself for free." Natawa naman siya dito.

"Para mo naman binubugaw ang sarili mo. Sige na nga tatanggi pa ba ko. Pero habaan mo pasensya mo sakin."

"Ako pa ba super haba kaya ng pasensya ko sayo." Pagkindat ko dito.

Napasimangot na lang ito thinking it had something to do with my sleepless nights from all her crying.

Pinaupo ko na siya sa driver's seat while I sat beside her.

Tinuro ko kung san niya iaadjust ang seat to make herself comfortable. Instructed her to adjust her rear and side view mirrors as well. Told her about the gears and how to step on the accelerator and brake. She looks good to go already as she fastened her seatbelt.

"Alagaan mo ang baby ko Cait a."

"Haay kinakabahan ako Bei."

"Don't be. You have me." I squeezed her shoulder lightly as she huffed to brace herself.

She shifted the gear on drive and stepped on the gas as the car slowly moved out of parking.

"Liko ka diyan. Wag mo sakupin yung other lane but not too close to the pavement."

Ang cute niya when she scrunches her nose as she slowly makes a turn. Pati yung sobrang laser focus niya while she drives. I'm pretty much doomed if I get so amazed with all these small details about her.

"Bei jan ka pa ba? Tell me ok lang ba ang pagdadrive ko." That shook me back to the task at hand.

"Uh yeah you're doing fine you are getting the hang of it. Why don't we take it up a notch and teach you how to maneuver?"

"Diretso mo sa may bandang cul de sac." Pagdating ko dun pinababa ko muna siya at nagpalit kami.

I put my right arm sa seat niya as I drove the car to the left then reversed to the right before I drove forward. All the while my left hand was doing the steering.

"Ang expert mo naman one hand. Ang astig tignan."

"When you get the hang of it magagawa mo din yan. Now try the 3 point turn maneuver."

Nagawa naman ni Cait upon my instruction, fast learner naman siya. "Ikot mo pabalik sa cul de sac using the 3 point turn then turn ka sa left so we can do the 2 point turn."

She did as instructed so she was currently parking in the left corner. "Reverse to the right then drive forward. That is your 2 point turn." She was able to do this with ease then I taught her how to do the three types of parking then: forward bay, reverse and parallel.

Nagutom na din kami afterwards and headed back to the dorm.

"Pag bibili ka na samahan kita message or tawagan mo lang ako."

"Oo naman wala akong alam sa mga kotse."

"Cool I know a lot of good car dealers. Ako bahala sayo."
