Chapter 9

Bea POV

"Nagsosolo ka yata dito. Let me guess ayaw mo makitang masaya yung roommate mo?"

"Ginagawa mo ba dito Madayag? Tantanan mo nga ko nananahimik ako."

"I told you in the first place diba?"

"So what if you were right? Choice ko naman to ang mag-intay sa wala."

"Fine alis na ko. Hayaan na kitang magmukmok mag-isa diyan."

Di ko namalayang nakatulog na pala ko nang may yumugyog sa akin.

"Gising ka na tara sa baba madaming food."

"Inaantok pa ko go away."

"Ang sama nito. Inaaya ka na ngang kumain e."

"Di pa ko gutom kayo na lang."

"Bei tara na please."

Napilitan akong humarap sa kanya as I heard her voice crack. I wanted so bad to be happy for her but I can't.

"Cait I'm having a headache right now so I just wanna sleep this off." I turned my back again to her.

"You don't like him noh?"

I didn't answer her I just kept my eyes shut trying my very best not to cry.

"I know you are just looking out for me but he is trying naman Bei."

"Kung alam mo naman pala ang sagot sa tanong mo bakit tinatanong mo pa sakin?"

"Can't you give him a chance? Sabi mo diba whatever I decide on you will support me?"

"Here is me supporting you. Deal with it."

"That is so unfair Bei."

Napabalikwas ako sa sinabi niya.

"Excuse me unfair? Ako? I have been nothing but supportive to you. I am just not interested in eating whatever your ex bf is offering unfair na agad ako?"

Dinukdok ko na agad ang ulo ko sa unan at kinoveran pa ng isa pang unan ang ulo ko to drown the tears. I heard her footsteps towards the door as she slammed the door shut.

We didn't talk for a few days pero marupok ako. I was still the one who gave in when I heard her crying. I approached her and inabot sa kanya ang peppero.

"Ano yan?"

"Peace offering."

Hindi ito sumagot pero kinuha, binuksan at kinain niya naman ito while hugging her knees. I sat beside her.

"I'm sorry I had been harsh to you. If he makes you happy who am I para mag-inarte diba?"

Yumakap lang ito sakin. "I missed you."

I kissed the top of her head. "I missed you too."
