Chapter 12

Bea POV

We decided to talk heart to heart near each other while facing one another. Lying down in the same bed but not touching. Just being this close to her never fails to make my heart beat faster and tumble all over.

"What are you afraid of?"

"Losing our friendship if this goes further."

"Hinding hindi ako mawawala sayo. Kailangan mo kong ipagtabuyan bago ko mawala sa buhay mo."

"Pano ka nakasisigurado?"

"Kasi sayo lang ako sigurado."

"What if sinasabi mo din yan sa lahat ng babae mo?"

"Babae ko? I don't have a girlfriend at the moment but I do want one and she is right in front of me."

"You know all the right words to say to make a girl fall for you Bei."

"These words won't mean anything if it ain't you Cait."

"I don't know a thing on how to act around girls in a romantic sense."

"I'm willing to wait."

"What if takes a long time for me to figure this out?"

"I will wait even if it takes forever."

"Yan for sure bola na."

"Well it might sound like cliche. But you can take my word for it kahit ipusta mo pa lahat ng ari arian mo."

"Ang OA a. Ganun ka talaga tinamaan sakin? Sobrang haba naman ng hair ko pagdating sayo."

"Kaya nga ansabi ni Rapunzel sayo."

"Baliw ka talaga."

"Yup as crazy as it may sound. I know marami naman iba diyan na magkakandarapa sakin mahangin na kung mahangin. But they're not you and they will never be you Cait. So pano ko titingin sa iba kung sayo lang nakapako ang aking mga mata?"

"Gawd naninibago talaga ko sayo pwede mag-asaran na lang uli tayo?"

"Okay sige sabi mo." Tumayo na ko at bumalik sa kama ko. "Goodnight Cait, don't dream of anyone else."

"Ewan ko sayo Bea."

I stopped being sweet to her like how she wanted and I kept a safe distance from her meaning di ako lumalayo pero di na rin ako sobrang lumalapit.
